Regarding the environment and climate change, only 1 percent of Germans list this as the most pressing issue.

usually moves markets and pm’s around a bit. They’ll be whatever the intended narrative wants it to be. I suspect if they are up, part of that may be the endless inflation we see every day, although gas in my area is now down to $3.18 a gallon for some unknown reason.

Somehow Bank of America came out with the highest earnings in the history of their company, although paper losses for things they hold are pretty ugly.

So, from the knee jerk reaction in pm’s I’m guessing the retail sales numbers were “better than expected” as they’ve sold them down a little, but not into negative territory yet, but it looks like that might be coming.

The dollar is jumping. Rates were already up 5 bips, so I imagine the 10 yr. is jumping as well.

The SM, especially the Nasdaq, doesn’t care for a stronger dollar or rates either. Oil flat. Bitcoin giving up some of yesterdays gains.

So far, pm’s and shares are bending, but not breaking just yet. Good to see, we want gold strong no matter what the dollar and rates are doing. We’ll see.

Good to see the sector hold up pretty well. Usually we receive a serious beating after a day like Friday.

So, the hedge funds went tits short why? They thought rates were going much higher and drag the dollar along?

Interesting that the dollar is down with rates up, wondering if the Fed may have to come in and support the bond market.

As of Tuesday October 10th, hedge funds and CTAs moved to ~$5.2 billion net notional short position in #gold futures.

They’ve got the DOW futures up a hundred points or so, but I’m seeing cracks in the effort as some of the mega cap names are down premarket, not a lot but NVDA, TSLA, AAPL to name a few.

They’re taking pm’s down just under 1% at this point, we’ll see how that goes throughout the day, but not unexpected.

The dollar is down a little but the 10 yr. is up 6 bips. Oil is flat, but lo and behold Bitcoin is up 2.25% because Ferarri is now taking it for cars. Good luck to them.

No nukes over the weekend and Israel hasn’t gone into level Gaza just yet. So everything must be OK 🙂

Good Grief!  You are lucky to be alive.  Carbon Monoxide poisoning is the usual cause.  Also the cause of the long headache.  It takes a long time to clear out of the body.  Brain Damage?  Maybe, but you are still with us.

Tunnel air also affects the performance of the diesel engines when they cannot get enough oxygen.  The Rio Grande, because they had so many tunnels thru the mountains in their system, ordered special locomotives.  They were called ‘tunnel motors’.  The air intakes on the body were at low level by the frame instead of on top, where they could suck exhaust.  The ‘tunnel motor’ design sucked intake air from a lower mid-level.  Many are still around today.  The design is the SD40-2T.

In the early ‘60’s I was riding the rails in Western Canada, but the new version whereby one could enter an engine unit cab and sit out the ride in relative comfort. Units were much less powerful in those days and many units were required to provide sufficient power to cross the Rockies.

I hoped a unit on Canadian Pacific Railroad (CPR) in Revelstoke (a Division point where crews were exchanged) one evening, bound for Vancouver. I seldom rode the CPR units, preferring the more tender mercies of Canadian National crews.

I didn’t know that section of the CPR line passed through the Connaught Tunnel, some 5 miles long. Once we entered the tunnel I soon encountered difficulty breathing since I was in the last of seven units and the exhaust of units in front of me was entering the cab. I soon lost consciousness.

Some time later I regained consciousness while the train negotiated a bridge crossing the nearby Kicking Horse River. The only observable effect was a spitting headache but I’ve always wondered if I sustained some brain damage from oxygen deprivation. 🙂

Yes, a lot of folks will get crushed if we have that kind of crash. I suppose it all depends on what the Globalists have planned. I don’t think 1929 was an accident. Many made millions back then like JP Morgan, Joseph Kennedy (a mistake), Rockefellers, all the Fed Reserve bank owners. They knew in advance that the money would come out of the markets because they pulled it. If they start to dump mega cap tech, it will be epic. All this stuff has repeated for centuries in one form or another. It will be intentional.
