Anchorage had “preserved” Earthquake Park in its original “destroyed” condition as a reminder of what an earthquake can do. I built a home overlooking Knik Arm with a hanging cupboard over the breakfast bar, and that hanging cupboard would shake and rattle with every earthquake; sometimes many times daily. I see almost 1/3 of todays earthquakes are from Alaska. SNG
