🇲🇱 Mali’s government is losing its grip.
Rebel groups (FLA) and Al-Qaeda-linked militants (JNIM) have teamed up to retake Kidal, a major northern city. They kicked out the Malian army and their Russian mercenaries (Africa Corps), even tearing down their flags.
More shockingly, fighting has reached Kati, a military hub just 15 kilometres away from the capital city, Bamako.
If Kati falls, the entire government could collapse.
