I believe they are rather delicate things, whereas earthquake bombs muscle their way through a hundred feet or two of mountain and then detonate. I don’t think a nuclear mechanism could withstand the impact. A couple of small nukes might make the place uninhabitable, though. Sort of.

Have sent message to Host to see what is going wrong…and have emailed you….apologies

Dollar, rates and oil giving some back. SM getting a little traction.
How big and for how long is anyone’s guess.

Pickaxe Mountain has a height of 1,608 meters (about 5,276 feet) above sea level.
Ipso Ferrett
They are wondering what kind of bomb could go deep enough for that pick ax mountain to reach it is why they’re thinking about nukes right. I don’t even know if a nuke could reach that far. Isn’t it like 200 feet deep. I don’t think a smaller one world work. If it’s under the mountain it could be deeper than 200 ft from the top of the mountain. It seems Iran may have already thought of that. Unless they want to blow up and radiate the whole mid east. Are they that daft to even think about it?
And the laundry fire!
If they do, I hope a brisk ESE wind takes the magic dust back to Israel.
ferrett
I thought that was plumbing problems … 🙂
I think it unlikely that we’d use nukes. Now the Israelis?
ipso, well, you nearly lost the Gerald R Ford.
And it was out of action for a while. But you’re right about the land bases. They are fairly obsolete too, compared to mobile missile launchers which cost peanuts and will have disappeared by the time retribution arrives. And it is a huge country with many desolate areas, ideal for hiding missiles and launchers. So mini-nukes won’t eliminate much apart from population – and then you have the fall-out wafting wherever the wind takes it.
But, generals are always fighting the last war. It’s the people that have to “make do” that come up with new ideas.
Maddog
They’re trying to use interest rates to revive it which will start to negatively effect the economy and throw us in stagflation. I don’t know if it will get that high but it ” the dollar,” has a gap at 105 1/2.

Right, useless and suspected money launderers.

I was thinking that in this Iran war we are lucky to have the carriers. All of our nearby military bases have successfully attacked by ballistic missiles and drones. At least the carriers were alternate platforms to launch attacks. No carriers were lost in the war and I don’t know if any were heavily damaged or not!
You’re right though with advent of modern hypersonic missiles the days of the carrier are numbered.

“What kind of people working there” Incompetent or more likely paid traitors.
Maddog @ 13:34
GB’s military has fallen on sad days! The Brits need to spend that money on welcoming new immigrants you know!
Then to be walking that line … are you in the war or not. I don’t see how they think they are invincible. Maybe they think their nuclear shield will protect them. Maybe it will. The elites are playing craps with humanity.
ipso 10;10?
side tracked for a minute. I’m sure there is and jeopardizing the safety of our military pilots is indefensible. Heads should roll. It’s only being down played by the Pentagon. What kind of people do they have working for is there???
Maddog, Portsmouth,
that’s where the RNLI dumped another couple of hundred invaders under police protection recently, isn’t it?
So you don’t reckon that the UK could mount another Falklands style response anymore? Like when the fleet left at three days’ notice to fight half way around the world? Of course, that was during the tenure of the last Prime Minister, all the government leaders after Thatcher being distinctly fourth, or at best, third rate.
However, I think that the days of carriers are over, and that the Iran war confirms that. After the laundry fire the US kept them well away from the conflict. The Russians don’t have a single aircraft carrier now. They, and other naval craft, have been made obsolete by hypersonic missiles for which there is currently no defence. The art of war has changed significantly, which is the reason why the UK can interfere so much from afar. Think about it – the fate of Ukraine is in the hands of one man. One man could stop the war tomorrow. The area that almost everyone agrees has been critical to Ukraine’s survival, and a hindrance to Russia’s success (although they were stealing it for a while) is Starlink. Without Musk the Ukrainian front line would evaporate. Drone warfare and missiles (supported by the US, UK, France etc. etc.) have taken over as the main form of attack, not big guns and aircraft (remember Saddam’s three stage gun capable of hitting Israel?). Defenses are now other missiles with lasers becoming a possibility, or for drones paradoxically moving back to the 12 bore, which is just a glorified easier-to-reload blunderbuss.
Don’t poke the bear.
Correction still not done in Shares
See how Point A is broken by tonights close…..thus the correction under E wave rules is not done….
GLD trading tick for tick with the QQQ’s
only not as strong. SLV pretty much the same. Shares not trading with anything, there’s zero interest in them.
We look to be dead money unless the dollar and rates ease up, even then, the SM will have to be up as well.
Can’t watch this for more than a few minutes at a time. Too disgusting.

Re War talk
I really wish someone could explain what it is all about…..The UK has never been weaker….it is a sad joke…..I recently docked in Portsmouth our major Naval port and as we did, we passed both out Carriers tied up in port, with rust all over them…we only have enough planes for one of them and neither looked remotely ready for sea, let alone war.
Plus we have no where near enough ships ie Destroyers/Frigates etc to defend them…..they would be sunk within minutes in any battle.
The Army has less than 60,000 troops, most nowhere near battle ready and the RAF has 111 Typhoons and shares 47 F35’s with the Navy
Russia meanwhile has 1.5 million Troops, 1500 fighter jets and 115 bombers…….and we are facing up to that…..
Anyone in the UK advocating war with Russia today, needs being put in a rubber room.
Then I see this

Pretty crazy world when leaders are contemplating using nukes. What’s with all this war BS? Societal Deathwish? Do the NWO boyz think they can really survive this?
Ipso
I’d say that article from zerohedge is just a heads up, this is coming. Couple that with Goldie’s video of smaller tactical nukes and I think this is how it ends – or starts WWIII.
Hope not, but boys will be boys.
Rates all the way up to 5.15%.
I took a shot at some EQX for the day, but that’s all it will end up being. Hopefully we can find some footing here. The dollar is relentless.

I’m sure there’s more to the story!

Cant get good help these days, especially when you outsource. Where does China get off confiscating it. Were like their UFOs, Everytime they get some parts or a plane dropped in their territory they rush to confiscate it a copy it. Why don’t we accidentally send them those exploding paint boxes.
