I don’t disagree. I see that China and Pakistan put out a 5 point peace plan. Maybe they’ll be able to reign in Iran and get a more amenable government.
I don’t believe that any peace will necessarily be lasting and whatever deal is done has to include Israel and their ability to rebuild the temple at the current site of the mosque.

If there is good out come in Iran, ie the Regime falls and the people take over and create a decent society , then I see the SM’s flying ….peace in the ME would be a hell of a goal and we have a real chance, as the Regime has pissed off everyone in the ME……especially MBS….he wants that Regime Gone and he doesn’t piss around.
We have no idea what is being cooked up during this lull…..

The speed of the Rallies, especially last nights says we are either done down, or very close to being done……Sometimes a final wave of even high degree can last hours only and not even be visible on daily or weekly charts etc….especially if the move is parabolic and we are in a parabolic rally.

I guess the true story will come out eventually. Carriers are notoriously vulnerable … a floating gas station with bombs! More AA systems are needed and not the ones that cost millions a shot.
Depends where the missile went in. If it went in at the stern and exploded inside, then a quick patch up job would suffice. Nobody seems to have got any close-ups of anywhere. A laundry fire? That burnt for 30 hours? On a warship? These things are designed to fight fires anytime, anywhere. They are designed to cope with being hit and yet a laundry fire puts it out of action for a year? First Cyprus and now in Croatia, this still ‘mission ready’ lump of scrap is far from the action. Maybe Cyprus was too close where it was still in range of Iran.
What’s more embarrassing, being hit by a missile during combat, actually, during the first time it has seen combat (or maybe, if it was blown up by a missile up the exhaust port it never actually saw combat!) or put out of action by a laundry fire? What is so imflammable in a laundry anyway? I thought they were full of water.
I see that Kuwait has boldly destroyed another Iranian missile in a port in Dubai, using a fully laden oil tanker.
