The Gaza conflict is a theocidal land grab, as is the on-going elimination of all non-jewish palestinians, Christians and Muslims, in the West Bank. Israel is doing this on the basis of God having promised them the land in Genesis and Exodus, because they don’t believe in Jesus or the new covenant that Jesus gave us. I think this should actively be opposed.
Iran, on the other hand, is a country determined to get a nuclear weapon, has consistently maintained that its aim is to obliterate Israel, calls America the Great Satan, directly promotes terrorist attacks throughout the region, and indirectly elsewhere. So not just for the sake of Israel but for everywhere, this too should be actively opposed.

What they are less familiar with is what Paul said about the powers and principalities that rule the governments of the world. This is why Jesus did not argue with Satan when Satan offered Him the world in exchange for His worship. He knew it was Satan’s to give.
