Since so much is going on here and now my daughter still on the mend and not thinking well about charts I decided to scan charts. A lot of them. Good therapy I think.

I can’t post this one. I suppose I could because it’s public but because I don’t know or ever talked this person about it but he had a interesting observation on his chart. Aprox 7 and 12 year trends. 7 for dollar 12 for gold.

USD 7 1/2 yrs from the top of USD

1985 to 1992 to  Down 7 yrs

Mid 92 to mid 95  3 yrs base.

Mid 95 to mid 2001. 6 years up.

Mid 02 to mid 2008  7 yrs down.

Mid 08 to 2014 Base  6 years

Mid 14 to end of 2022 8 1/2 yrs up.

Will  the trend continue with the coming 7 years down trend in the USD which is about the same as the 7 MORE years totaling 12 up trend in gold. Gold 12 yrs up trends.

That will be interesting.

What does that say about the economy with the Fed trying to get to that 2 percent inflation rate, congress spending and the future election?

Our generation is born free but they want us to die a slave.
