Metals in general seem pretty solid, copper up 2%.
I’ve been watching BHP and RIO since Maddog mentioned them here and they were a great buy back then and still might be. They are up nicely in the premarket yet again.
I see Home Depot and Walmart are in the crapper after earnings misses, tanking the DOW down 300+. I wonder if the SM is finally ready to have a real correction that doesn’t come right back.
The Fed thinks they can do this without a recession. If so, it will be the first time. The guy (Marty Walsh) in charge of the Employment Report resigned – because he wasn’t on board with the rig. Expect more realistic numbers next week.
