In yesterday’s Ask Fleck , a reader posted a link to a stagflation article :
One of the ‘points’ in the Stagflation piece referred to the global decarbonization push .
That is a hot button for me ! I was P.I. for two significant EPRI reports , one about 300 pages and another over 500 pages , decades ago .
The latter forced me to become an expert in dissolved gases . I could see the whole global warming issue had cause and effect backward . Warming (solar induced) releases CO2 from solution in surface waters , not the opposite cause and effect as the WEF/UN/IPCC claim . Allow a can of soda to warm to room temperature and pop it open along with a refrigerated one for comparison of off-gassing .
I dug further on my own (without compensation) after those were published and the whole global warming BS was starting ;
– Virtually all food stems from photosynthesis , including meat (grazing , etc.) .
– The optimal CO2 level for photosynthesis and plant growth peaks at 3 to 4 times current atmospheric concentration (around 1500 ppm vs current < 400 ppm).
– Nature/The Creator saw to it that :
– as temperatures drop and leaves fall in autumn , the solubility of CO2 increases by over 300% over summer temperature equilibrium conditions . (cans of soda analogy)
– Rain droplet size diminishes significantly causing the surface area to volume ratio to increase by up to 60:1 from summer conditions .
– Misty drizzle falls much slower than summer rains , increasing contact time for dissolution.
– Surface tension becomes more important creating spherical droplets . Bigger summer raindrops are mishapen blobs with minor surface tension effects . Surface tension pressurizes the interior of the drops.
– Autumn runoff velocity is slower than spring and summer runoff (less volume or flowrate) and the Bernoulli effect* increases runoff liquid pressure , keeping gases in solution. (also less turbulence). The gases stay sequestered in surface waters until Spring warmup , just as plants are budding and need CO2 for growth .
Decarbonization is a recipe for mass starvation !
* Fluid pressure is inversely proportional to flow velocity .
