Chile a step closer to nationalizing copper and lithium
Chile’s constituent assembly, in charge of writing the country’s new Constitution, approved on Saturday an early-stage proposal that opens the door to nationalizing some of the world’s biggest copper and lithium mines.
The motion by the environmental committee, which gathered over the weekend for the first time since its creation as a deadline to wrap up proposals looms, received 13 votes in favour with three against and three abstentions.
The proposal targeting mostly large-scale mining of copper, lithium and gold has yet to be approved by two thirds of the full assembly to become part of Chile’s new charter, which will be put to a national referendum later this year.

Well we all know why the under performance is there…..Today was a classic…no way shud Gold have been stopped at 2 K when oil was knocking on $ 130…..that is just so inflationary.
Still I see that MbS has told Resident Joe to rotate…..No way will Oil fall too far…before it starts t climb again.

When I said “no right to be going up” of course I meant compared to the USD & Rates moving up.
Other than that, we have every reason to be up but the scum, although stressed, is slowing the ascent. I looked at golddealer.com for phyzz and they have plenty of inventory
We are still underperforming when compared to the other commodities, palladium is up 50% in the last couple of weeks, aluminum is up 200% in the last couple of years, same with steel and stainless steel. I don’t really follow grains, food etc.
Maybe we are the last asset to move. I see the scum has everything under control this am.

PM’s have no right to be going up, and yet they still are. Then again palladium is up another 9%.
Shares look pretty solid premarket; they don’t appear to be worried about the metals.
