$4.6658 is the rounded silver value for the 1932-1964 silver quarter. The quarter bought a gallon of gas for a long time. So the silver change sitting in a jar did not lose value over time.
I guess I’ll look to buy again when gold hits $1950 and HUI 280.

Planet Labs PBC said they collected a new satellite image on Tuesday showing a large plume of black smoke coming from the tanker, which is floating about 20 miles (32 kilometers) east of the Ukrainian city of Odessa.
On Feb. 25, Ukrainian Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Valery Zaluzhny said a ship sailing under the flag of Moldova, 12 miles (19 kilometers) south of the port of Yuzhny, had been “damaged by a Russian ship.” The statement named the “Millennial Spirit” and said details were being confirmed.
The ship was carrying 600 tons of fuel oil and diesel when it was hit by a Russian missile, according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. Two crew members were seriously injured in the strike, the ministry said.
The boys are really trying to goose this rally in the SM, especially the Nasdaq, and create a nice short squeeze.

As you say, maybe the 12 hour cease fire is helping. Also, it could be that the Pentagon has rejected the offer of Poland to send Mig’s to Ukraine, or it could be that oil is taking a breather. too.

I’m not seeing any news that would be bullish for the SM and bearish gold. Maybe it is coming. Silver not getting hit too bad yet, which is a bit surprising, silver likes to lead the way down.
As far as pm’s, we were due to pullback, obviously oil is too.
Only question with pm’s is where to BTFD!

Poland’s Offer Of Jets For Ukraine “Raises Serious Concerns For Entire NATO Alliance”: Pentagon
Update(20:45ET): Some sharp words and a swift rejection from the Pentagon Tuesday evening: “The prospect of fighter jets ‘at the disposal of the Government of the United States of America’ departing from a U.S./NATO base in Germany to fly into airspace that is contested with Russia over Ukraine raises serious concerns for the entire NATO alliance,” Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said of the Polish announcement which caught the Biden administration by surprise.
Kirby described the Pentagon perspective on Poland’s earlier in the day declaration that it would send all its Russian-produced MiG-29 jets to Ramstein Air Base in Germany for the United States to be able to transfer them to Ukraine further as follows:
“It is simply not clear to us that there is a substantive rationale for it,” he added, stressing that the proposal “shows just some of the complexities this issue presents.”
“We will continue to consult with Poland and our other NATO allies about this issue and the difficult logistical challenges it presents, but we do not believe Poland’s proposal is a tenable one.”

Despite all the drama today we’re still up almost $50 and silver around $.80 higher. Have to love the strength, and the shares needed a rest before surging higher again.
