The least they could do is warn them of symptoms so they can get treated if possible like with immune disablers like prednisone. I’m no computer guru but maybe your computer has a memory so somehow you need to erase the memory or cookies or something that brings you back. Only thing is maybe email the link to yourself cuz when you do it will also erase current memory or passwords to current things.

How do you assume costs just caught up. On average the value of money goes by half every 20 yrs so costs can double.
We’re not seeing 20 yrs with gradual increases. Not in Calif anyways even with mass exodus which are easily replaced with immigrants now illegally bussed in since Obama. It’s getting harder for illegal immigrants here because of costs so their spreading out to more affordable areas along with the demo voters that just don’t get it turn more states blue until they paint themselves in a corner.
We’re not talking about 20 yrs with gradual wage increases followed by housing increases. This is artificially priced up and will likely cause a backlash that will break the banks and then the communists in office can use it to impose digital central bank currency on us with further control over our lives and personal income and eliminate cash all together. Meanwhile they’ll make it harder and harder to own property.

As a 77 year old with a very ill wife and on a fixed income (SS + some savings), it’s sickening watching inflation eat away at our remaining life. It’s a good thing I worked and saved like a dog to become debt free (no loans, paid off house). But COSTS are going up all around us. The big ones are:

Property tax – just got the reappraisal – County doubled the land value, improvements increased a few percent. Maybe 10% increase overall. 

Insurance – auto/home is up 10% for this year.

Medicare and supplemental coverage – Sup. coverage increased for us several percent. Medicare+supplemental ins.+ Part D drug coverage costs us $9 K out of pocket. Wife’s drugs are $4 K out of pocket. (and don’t suggest we switch to a Medicare Advantage plan – picking qualified doctors and having choices is important to us)

Since I do all the grocery shopping and handle our finances, I see “sneaky” increases almost everywhere (groceries, utilities, services, etc). 

One thing I have noticed…..I have NOT seen any price or cost go down in recent memory.

Oh, we are way better off than most folks we know who are in our age group.

If the costs or prices, of Materials and Labor were artificially controlled and suppressed, for decades, and that interference with “the invisible hand” of capitalism, eventually resulted in a culmination, a 2008 financial crisis, after which everything went into reverse. Meaning the correct prices of material and labor were going higher to be “normal”. Is that inflation?

Like if you were renting long term, decades, and the land lord neglected to raise your rent, and you were paying $800/mo for an apartment that is worth $1800/mo. Then a new landlord brings your rent up to date $1800. Is that inflation?

In my view, the money supply was shrinking from 1971 to 1981 with high rates to 21% sucking money into deposit accounts, and inhibiting borrowing and spending. The money supply was increasing 1934 to 1971. After they removed gold backing prices inverted upward, and TPTB media blamed “too high wages” and called it “the wage price spiral”.

• It was 1977 before Americans could own gold.
• The baby boom was more and more in the workforce.
• Inflation psychology drove purchases of major appliances, cars, and houses.  Houses especially.  Buy a house with payments you can’t afford today, because you’ll get a raise next year and be able to afford them, plus next year the house will cost 10-12% more if you wait.  That popular approach bit thousands when the music stopped and they had no chair.  Suddenly people had houses they couldn’t afford and they didn’t get raises, plus the same house across the street had been foreclosed and was for sale for 20% less than you paid for yours.  The end of inflation can be as painful as inflation itself.  Or worse.
• Slogans.  I remember WIP (Whip Inflation Now) buttons.  How about, during the gas shortage, “Don’t be fuelish!”
• Illegal aliens.  We didn’t have 30 million of them expecting amnesty and welfare–which now will necessitate printing even more money.
• On the other side, we didn’t have 1.4 billion Chinese depending on sales to America.  Huge unknown factor that could mitigate or exacerbate the inflationary forces at work here, depending on how the CCP decides to take advantage of our problems.

I’m not buying the jacked up prices but found some kinda deals on two ounce coins and it was like I was trying to beat out a market maker trying to get you to chase the price. The 2 oz at 63. equaled about 31. 50 or so a ounce which I got for the American eagles just a awhile back and jumped in a few seconds to 67 for 2 oujze rounds. Sheesh

I went to one site to check out PM prices maybe buy a little and practically everything was sold out. The gold coins I wanted to buy sold out. I put in a small order for some silver and power went out for a few seconds turning off WiFi got back on and the price was already up a few bucks on one I ordered a few had to reorder and the other got sold out that fast. Crazy, everything being bought up or their just holding it or both???

I think these people if it’s paid for add their heirs to the title and the next generation does the same. Maybe put heir paid 1 dollar for half ownership or split it between more and do the same every generation.

Everything’s working in Gold’s favor today, USD and 10 yr. down – we should be doing better but maybe we will as the day goes on. I’m looking for an explosion over $1900 at some point and hopefully soon.

You’ve been complaining about log in problems for years, long before we migrated here. This makes me think this problem is specific to your computer and how you have it set up.

Neither Buygold or I have the knowledge or means to fix this and we are not going to hire IT help to fix a problem which seems to be on your computer.

The initial goal of the sellers has got to be to smash the price below 25… there about… as they have been selling above 26 for better than two months now with little or no opportunity to buy back in… they cannot sell forever as a default will end this game…

Ultimately silver must be returned to below 22… and preferably 20… to render it once again tame… a decisive breakout above 30… which is currently being threatened… would pretty much be game over… as there is nothing but air between 30 and the mid forties…
