Loading ...Two stores here locally, one a super Walmart and another a grocery store have closed only one door to get in and out and Walmart just two doors one side of the very long building. With that especially the super walmart it causes crowding on one side of a already crowded parking lot and long walks for others.
The reason is shoplifting.
I was surprised to find no tellers at Walmart now just do it yourself check outs. How is that going to help the shoplifting problem?
The grocery store has security next to the only door.
This could be a fire hazard waiting to happen but I guess their only option other than closing the stores.
Increasing homeless and people from low income areas have increased the shoplifting to the point they had to take these measures.
