Canada floats idea of North American ban on new gasoline-powered cars
OTTAWA (Reuters) – Canada wants deeper environmental ties with the United States and one result could be a North American ban on the sale of new gasoline-powered passenger cars and trucks, a senior cabinet member said on Thursday.
Environment Minister Jonathan Wilkinson said Ottawa and the incoming administration of President-elect Joe Biden both agreed zero emissions vehicles needed to be deployed faster.
Canada will discuss with the United States how to achieve this and also improve the overall performance of the transport sector, which accounts for 26% of Canadian emissions, he said in a phone interview.

I’m with you on that, Rich! It takes the really fine nanoparticle stuff to work on viruses, though. Some ‘chunky’ colloidal silver is not going to be as effective. Zambia must build majority stakes in selected mines to benefit from its mineral wealth beyond taxes, President Edgar Lungu said on Thursday, as he set out an economic recovery plan after the country defaulted on a debt payment last month.
Africa’s second-biggest copper producer, Zambia is seeking to increase its control over the mining sector – the country’s main generator of hard currency – as it navigates a debt crisis.
“Owning a stake in some strategic mines gives the state the leverage required to utilise the defined mineral resources to benefit the nation,” Lungu said.
“I must mention that this is not nationalisation of the mines, on the contrary, it is the state acquiring majority stakes in selected mines while allowing private investors to also participate in the sector,” he added.
Lungu did not identify which mines the state would target for majority ownership.

When u consider that we now have the concept of Fake News running our lives, it is right and fitting, that such a society should embrace something as fake as Bitcoin, as it’s preferred means of ‘safety’ investing.
Just look at how Bitcoin has exploded into record highs, just as the Globalist’s, think they have conquered the US, is that a coincidence, or far more likely yet another sign of how rigged all these mkts are. We even have that arch manipulator JPM, calling for $ 140,000 Bitcoin, while boasting how it has taken over Gold’s role…..when they know themselves how often they slam Gold, merely to make it appear a lousy investment, aka the Rig.
The next great trade, will be timing when the scales fall from peoples eyes.
