That could be a geography thing. Lots of Americans couldn’t find Texas on a map … let alone Liverpool or Manchester or wherever you live.

Here on the Big Island we had nothing more than some stiff breezes & no rain! Rest of the state got some rain, but nothing damaging. Yeah, big sigh of stress relief.
RE: Mail….  Twice now I’ve ordered stuff on eBay from the east coast. Somewhere in the midwest they disappeared from tracking (3-day priority to Hawaii, allegedly) and seven days later appeared in GUAM. From there they had to go back to the west coast and again to Hawaii… 14 day transit.  But at least they arrived, eventually!

Just checked the tracking on your letter.
Yesterday it was in San Francisco. Now it’s in Los Angeles about 350 miles south of SF and 350 miles further away. How’s that for efficiency! 🙂

Here’s one little example. If a US hospital reports a Pneumonia death they get $4,600.
If they call it a covid death they get $13,000.
If they put the patient on a ventilator and he/she dies they get $39,000.
Better watch it before it’s pulled down.

I guess the family wants to know for themselves while medical will want to know for future reference but aunties gone now.Autopsy is a messy job. When my brother died his kids wanted a autopsy. Their mother died when they were young of heart related issues so I could understand the concern. My brother died from diet as he would eat what was put on the table. I warned my niece but she wasn’t cooking for him and he was stubborn. Finally he started talking about a healthier diet but damage already done and wasn’t recognized in his so called check ups these days. CHF I didn’t as it was pretty obvious why he died. After I told them what they do they settled to just open his chest from which they found the cause. It’s pretty undignified and evasive as they pull everything out even your testis especially for women.

Not all goldbugs are missing this. I happen to agree with his premise. We will have to eventually exchange our gold for dollars, just a lot more of them hopefully. They won’t give up a fiat type system.
