At least 250 convicted and accused criminals freed from New York’s Rikers Island prison have been rearrested 450 times thanks to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s (D) jailbreak directive.

New York Police Department (NYPD) data reported by NBC New York’s Melissa Russo reveals that since Cuomo issued a statewide order demanding jails and prisons release inmates to abide by social distancing measures in late March, at least 250 inmates from Rikers Island have been rearrested.

R640 & Oro

Posted by Maya @ 0:15 on June 15, 2020

R640- I learned the hard way how to make a small fortune trading commodities…..   Start with a large fortune.  Haven’t traded paper since.

Oro – I joyfully dumped AT&T as my mobile provider last month.  My issue was their fraudulent paper billing practices.  Their bills are due in only 20 days from print (not the customary 30 day cycle).  THEN they hold the bills for 10 days (or more) before the Postal service gets them.  By the time the bill arrives… I would pay it with the next day’s outgoing mail… and would invariably get a ‘late fee’ tacked on next month.  This went on for three or four months and I documented it all in a complaint to their customer service.   Their reply was essentially ”… we’ve had some problems”… but no resolution nor satisfaction.  Bye-bye Ma Bell!

I had a bunch of money in ’99 and turned it into a way bigger bunch of money, thinking I knew what I was doing.
And then, I promptly turned it back into a much smaller bunch of money.
I thought I knew what I was doing as I kept the faith, figured the market would never go down blah-blah-blah…
Reminds me of 2001 all over again, againerer.

My father, who watched the Great Depression unfold as a child, told me, “never put more money in the stock market than you can afford to lose.” I never figured I could afford to lose any, so I never did. That wisdom may have hampered me during the market’s boom years during my life, but it also saved my ass in 1987, 2000, 2008, and 2020. I would never pretend to know when it’s time to bail out of the market, so it’s best to never go in.

I love the Hodge Twins perspective…

The Myth of Systemic Police Racism

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 22:16 on June 13, 2020

Parts:

“The police fatally shot nine unarmed blacks and 19 unarmed whites in 2019, according to a Washington Post database, down from 38 and 32, respectively, in 2015.

In 2018 there were 7,407 black homicide victims. Assuming a comparable number of victims last year, those nine unarmed black victims of police shootings represent 0.1% of all African-Americans killed in 2019. By contrast, a police officer is 18½ times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.”

Comment:

Its crazy whats been going on out there. The masses out there are even worse and dumber than I thought. Thanks to the media. I really don’t see any black racism. Even back in high school days. There are more black and white couples than ever. The media always re-directs peoples attention in the wrong direction. The blacks have come a long long way since the 1940s’50s. I doubt very much cops beat them up just because they are black. It also sounds like they want zero cops so they don’t get in trouble. By the way, I noticed around here there is a lot less crime in general because there are so many cameras everywhere.

What more could they, or do they, want? I can’t figure it out.  The only thing that makes sense is they need and should get more money when they work. Lots of work, plus over time? They would have no time to do and sell drugs. They would buy nice cars, small boats, go fishing and other hobbies that cost money. Like when I was a kid. Trump mentioned if the economy gets back on its feet and booms it would help the blacks. Maybe a little, but unfortunately, without a much higher standard basic practical wage, nothing will change for them or any 18 year old starting out.

I think they should teach kids in school, about things like, a wild horse for example. The horse is useless and has no value if it can’t be trained and will not cooperate. A horse is smart and wants to learn, can be a race horse or a work horse and has high value. Same thing with dogs. If they don’t pay attention, don’t listen, uncooperative, useless. The smart dog, likes to learn all he can, wants to make the owner happy?

Perfect, high value use for a guide dog or bomb sniffing dog etc. If the kids, black or white, are taught this view, they might think about themselves, and not want to be like the useless dog or horse. Also some personalities take offence at doing what they are told and following orders. But after hearing my horse and dog story, they may WANT to be disciplined and learn to be a high value human asset.

Here we go again

Atlanta police chief steps down after black man shot and killed by an officer

(CNN)Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields stepped down from her job Saturday less than 24 hours after one of her officers shot and killed a black man.

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms called for the officer who shot the man to be fired.
The change at the top of the Atlanta Police Department comes as protesters take to the streets demanding action following death of 27-year-old Rayshard Brooks.
Brooks was shot in the parking lot of a Wendy’s in southeast Atlanta Friday night after he scuffled with officers and ran away with one of their stun guns, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Rayshard Brooks, 27, was shot and killed by an Atlanta police officer Friday night.

The incident began with a call to police at 10:33 p.m. about a man sleeping in a parked vehicle in the restaurant’s drive-thru lane, causing other customers to drive around it, the GBI said in a statement.
Police gave Brooks a field sobriety test, which he failed, the GBI said. He resisted arrest and struggled with officers, the GBI said.
GBI Director Vic Reynolds said Saturday that his department obtained surveillance video of the incident from Wendy’s and reviewed video that witnesses posted on social media.
CNN obtained two videos of the incident, including surveillance video from Wendy’s released by the GBI. The other video was provided by an eyewitness who CNN is not naming because they requested anonymity due to privacy concerns.

Former Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields.

The video from the eyewitness begins in the middle of the struggle between Brooks and two police officers. In the video, an officer is heard telling Brooks to “stop fighting” and “hands off the taser.”
The eyewitness told CNN that by the time they arrived on the scene, Brooks’ car was parked in a parking spot.
“The fight started when they tried to make an arrest … after that he took a taser and took off,” the witness said.
As the scuffle broke up, the video shows Brooks beginning to run from the officers and he is seen holding what appears to be a stun gun in his right hand. It appears one of the officers fires their stun gun at Brooks three times as he runs away.
Witnesses told GBI investigators that Brooks had one of the officer’s stun guns.
Shortly after Brooks and one of the officers run by the car of the eyewitness taking the video, a second officer runs by, following Brooks.
Three shots are then heard out of frame.
The Wendy’s surveillance video doesn’t show the scuffle, but shows Brooks running away from where police cars are parked. In that video, Brooks appears to point the stun gun at the Atlanta officer.
“At that point the Atlanta officer reaches down and retrieves his weapon from his holster, discharges it, strikes Mr. Brooks there on the parking lot and he goes down,” Reynolds, the GBI director, said in a press conference on Saturday.
The eyewitness is heard saying in additional video obtained by CNN that Brooks was still breathing as he lay on the ground.
Brooks was taken to a hospital, where he died, the statement said. One officer was treated for an injury and released, the GBI said.

Well here’s another Bombshell video from Really Graceful, even exposing who is ultimately behind Bill Gates and today’s turmoil.

Last year there was a video and lots of discussion about the Seattle Space Needle being blown up On November 3rd. When it didn’t happen I learned that Election Day in the USA is November 3, 2020 and I mentioned that as a more likely possibility with all the Trump turmoil.

Now we have Seattle in a new crisis and a 16 block area of the city being declared the new country of Chaz and everybody turning a blind eye to all the looting, vandalism and destruction taking place within that “new country”.

Can anyone else see that as Trump is declared the winner by a landslide in 2020 the Seattle Space Needle will be destroyed on election day, November 3, 2020, just as predicted and foretold by last years video??????????? All FWIW, but I know nothing!!

It was almost like 1999 all over again – frenetic retail online trading, penny stock euphoria, derivatives run amuck, fun and games and throw caution to the wind speculative froth

Posted by Richard640 @ 8:56 on June 13, 2020

Weekly Commentary: Extraordinary Q1 2020 Z.1 Flow of Funds

It’s been a historic global Bubble, with bipolar U.S. and China epicenters. It’s no coincidence, then, that recent Credit dynamics share alarming similarities. China’s Aggregate Financing (a gauge of system Credit expansion) surged $450 billion during the month of May. This was 86% ahead of May ’19 growth. A booming May put year-to-date (five months) growth in Aggregate Financing at a blistering $2.450 TN. It’s crazy to think how much Chinese Credit will grow this year – Credit of Rapidly Deteriorating Quality. How long can systemic risk continue to inflate parabolically?

Global markets reversed sharply lower this week. “Risk on” careens to “Risk off” – for global stocks, corporate Credit, EM currencies/equities/bonds and commodities. One Big Unwieldy Speculative Trade. Pundits struggled to explain the abrupt reversal of fortunes. Was it something Powell said? A second wave of COVID infections that might hinder economic recovery? Election anxiety?

Let me suggest Plain Old Speculative Market Dynamics. Daydream, fantasize or hallucinate – if you choose. But this is a fiasco – and rather tangible, at that. It started years – even decades – ago. The craziness turned extreme last year, with the Fed aggressively stimulating in the face of highly speculative markets. It was never going to end well. And when the Bubble began imploding in March, the Fed and global central bankers responded immediately with Trillions of liquidity support. This fueled a rally, short squeeze and reversal of hedges that developed into one dazzling speculative melee.

From my analytical perspective, events over the past few months confirm Bubble Analysis – the Global Bubble Thesis. This week likely marked the beginning of a painful second leg of the bear market or, at the minimum, the return of wild volatility. There appears to have been both capitulation on the short side and “blow-off” speculative excess for the bulls. It was almost like 1999 all over again – frenetic retail online trading, penny stock euphoria, derivatives run amuck, fun and games and throw caution to the wind speculative froth.

The Fed owns the frail Bubble – this disastrous mania. How ironic is it that the more cautious (i.e. realistic) the Fed’s view of economic prospects, the greater liquidity-induced market euphoria propagates delusions of V’s, perpetual bull markets and permanent prosperity? And of all the nonsense emanating from this historic financial mania, history will trash this foolhardy notion that there is no limit to the quantity of central bank Credit and government debt that can be issued. Reviewing the Q1 Z1 report, I was thinking this is how things look as a system self-destructs. Q2 will be worse.

Financial crisis erupted in March. The Fed slashed rates at an emergency meeting on March 3rd – and then began aggressively expanding its holdings/balance sheet (creating market liquidity). Even from a “flow of funds” perspective, it was one extraordinary quarter.

“but they know the ultimate outcome. The emergence of the Yaun gold-backed cryptocurrency and the end of USA world domination by the anglo saxon empire. Someone is going to get screwed. Get me some popcorn!!!”

That would be interesting. I’m just wondering how you’d verify that it was actually backed by gold? Do you go somewhere to cash a tenth of the crypto in an get a few grams of gold?

You’d think some point the fiat game has to collapse on itself as countries stop trusting each others currency.

O.K.–thanks, I get it=the market climbs a wall of worry-I also get that the market is forward looking to glorious better times–Then climb this:

Posted by Buygold @ 8:26 on June 13, 2020

and I don’t know much, but I do know this – like 1929, this economic crash and market crash if it’s coming again, has been completely engineered by the same group of globalist scum that engineered it back then. Maybe it’s just a couple different generations of them, but it’s the same wealth.

This Covid thing was all bullshit.
