If u look at the Vol on an hourly chart. u can see huge Vol spikes on down moves, where vast numbers are having to be sold to keep it down….management should demand to know how many are delivered..my guess is very few.

Wow that’s a scary number! Around here there’s constant inflation but so far no big jumps like that. The true rate of inflation has been higher than the gov numbers for many years … the hidden tax.

Yeah, but that is misleading because those gains were made yesterday after the Fed meeting when the Crimex had already closed. JNUG had some nice gains in the last couple hours yesterday, I think up around 10% or so.
It will be interesting to see if dip buyers come into the pm’s after the initial slam at the open.
Where else will they go? Bonds? Big Tech?

No doubt, other than PM’s getting monkey hammered, this is not what the Fed wanted to see the SM do.
Not sure what tools the Fed has left to save the SM other than buying stocks themselves.

re inflation…dunno about the US, but my wife tells me lots of our food is up by 50 % recently. Of course no mention in MSM and no doubt the ‘official figs’ will not show it.
I use a simple method…a round of drinks for two…not long ago u got change for £ 5 note. now no change, from a £ 19 note….and that was when they were open.
