*The commercials increased their longs by 2,525 contracts and reduced their shorts by 16,962 contracts.

*The small specs increased their longs by 948 contracts and increased their shorts by 1,372 contracts.

GOLD

*The large specs decreased their long positions by 16,227 contracts and increased their shorts by 13,640 contracts.

*The commercials increased their longs by 4,020 contracts and reduced their shorts by 25,908 contracts.

BILL MURPHY COMMENTS=*The small specs increased their longs by 1,751 contracts and increased their shorts by 1,812 contracts.

Theoretically again, extremely constructive, especially silver, which has its so-called commercials getting less short over a one week period as any in memory. Two other reports over the past many weeks of similar note meant nothing. Maybe this one will … causing an expected short squeeze that never occurs.

As in those other supposedly constructive reports, there has no response in Access Market trading … probably due to the numbness factor.

time to book that Hamptons mansion for another season…..ain’t front running the scum fun.

This freeze means that U.S. support for the White Helmets is not the only project in jeopardy. There are also many other stabilization efforts that are backed by the U.S. — including the clearing of explosive devices, bringing back electricity, rebuilding schools, and getting water running — that may end soon.

U.S. officials are working to see if there is a way to adjust existing funding to cover the costs for these projects. They are also trying to get other countries, such as Germany, to cover some of the costs. Earlier this year, at the Brussels for the donor conference for Syria, German Foreign Minister Maas pledged more than $1.1 billion to help people in need in Syria.”

Now it is interesting how Zero Hedge reported on the same story with lots of pro-Russian propaganda added.   I am the first to admit that I don’t know what I don’t know about the Douma chemical attack.  However, I usually do not give Russian propaganda much credence.  The truth should be out soon regarding the chemical attack.

Yeah. I think the nature of his missile attack on Syria was pretty mild and non-lethal for a reason. He knew the chemical attack was B.S. but needed to appease someone. I really don’t think he wants to be there.

I expect Israel will be lighting up the Syrian sky this weekend.

Re Mueller

I just cannot believe the guy is still free, let alone a Special Counsel. Why the GoP did not raise hell over his appointment, proves they are as much in the tank as many Dems.

Though I get the sense that slowly it is all being exposed…..one thing is for sure people ain’t stupid and they can see right thru the Dem/MSM game.

We have just had some local elections around the country and the word was, that because of how useless May is and she is, labour ( our Dems) would sweep the board, especially in London….well it turns out that that was just wishfull thinking and that no-one can stomach the Labour party, who actually lost votes !!!!!

but, as always, resilience doesn’t pay the bills…in days of yore a jobs report on the weak side would have caused gold to spike cause maybe fewer interest rate hikes–when the number was read gold gapped up 3.50 but was hatchet-whacked immediately…and is under lock down…maybe monday we get the delayed pop…gold is definitely “bullish” acting in that it’s resilient to a higher dollar…
