If she does hope she points out the double standard which could be considered discrimination if they don’t act on the others. Then they call her anti Semitic even though she came from s Jewish family. Do they even know that lol
I watched a movie off topic a comedy about a Italian man who was Jewish about the consentration camps. I’m thinking how can they make a comedy about it but he pulled it off mixed with drama edge of seat as he was hiding out his cute little son after they killed the children. He told his dad who was working he didn’t have anything to do because all the kids had to take a shower and he didn’t want to take one so left.Something many parents can identify with their kids one thing or another occasionally. Dads telling him go take a shower he’s saying no he doesn’t want one and hid. Later that day dad figured out what happen so he hid him making a game out of it for the child. Quite genus, fast thinker through the whole thing. It was called Life is Beautiful.

I’m not surprised he pulled the plug because he does what he says or promises for American workers if it’s within his power. Unlike the party’s who sing their songs but when it comes to money or their donors mismanage everything and worse in Demo states which are taxed to death.
You might be right about the negotiation and other countries of course dragging their feet with NAfTA so Trump knowing it’s going no where slaps a tariff and who knows what else later.
Europe is in enough trouble and guessing why dollar going up here. Stocks down not worried about as Europe also got a bond issue as well as us here. They’re stuck in the Euro with Brussels and Merkels crew profiting while doing nothing for these countries except causing them more problems, financial strain and being forced to take in all these immigrants. All they’re doing is acting as a power over them while ruining there countries and cultures.
Calif still having problems with its brain dead d mos but got more than enough signatures to put on the ballot to repeal the gas tax they pulled on us hopefully.

“short term there’s a price to be paid”, when breaking bad habits

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 11:57 on May 31, 2018

Bad habits are easy and sometimes fun to start, but very hard to quit the “reversal” transition. Simple as 2 + 2=4.

Whoever was doing well with the old system before 2009, one by one will not do so well. Whoever was doing poorly with the old worn out system will gradually do better.

Bernie Madoff, democrats, borrowers and spenders, MS 13, retailors, federal employees etc etc were doing well before 2008 meltdown. Producers and manufacturers etc were doing bad before 2008.

On the news … NVO … not so good

The rainy day would have to be something in the form of an economic hurricane. If it’s another 2008 style collapse we’d probably get hurt somewhat on the commercial side but since most of what we do involves the food industry so there would still be a level of maintenance work. new projects would be put on the shelf. On the gov’t side, they’ll just try to increase spending to stimulate. Honestly, in terms of upcoming gov’t work I think we’ll be busy for the next 5-10 years with projects that are already in the works.

USD collapse/inflation could sink that ship in terms of our profitability, but that doesn’t seem to be in the works at the moment.

another reason to sell the metals. USD just won’t die.

Hey Ipso

Posted by Buygold @ 11:15 on May 31, 2018

Won’t really be a huge negative for our company as the costs are passed through to the customer. OTOH, they may start to delay purchases because of rising costs that they haven’t previously budgeted for.

Mostly it’s just arm wrestling over who absorbs the additional costs on existing orders. On the gov’t side we generally have an escalation clause for material. The bigger battle is with commercial customers that although we still have the clause, they still don’t want to pay more.

Regardless, our sales are off the charts, we’ve booked more business in the first four months than we ever have in an entire year in the history of the company. Our problem is trying to find enough qualified manpower.

Longer term I guess it was a necessity but short term there’s a price to be paid. Interesting that you have an insight first hand. I hope it doesn’t negatively affect your company!

I’m a little surprised that Trump pulled the trigger on the tariffs. Maybe a negotiating ploy for NAFTA. He’s definitely playing the globalist EU as well.

The tariffs have made it tough for our business because the price fluctuations are off the charts and our suppliers are only quoting prices that are good for 24-48 hours.

Would sure seem to be inflationary and maybe not great for the USD or US Treasuries…

I’ve no clue where this one goes …

@ipso facto re Trump Imposes Steel, Aluminum Tariffs. Another Major Reversal

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 10:28 on May 31, 2018

That sounds good to me for the country. If an American business owner favors a foreign country and product, rather than buying domestic, then he should contribute some funds to the US treasury, so other Americans can get a tax break.

Its pretty simple to tell the future these days, because its all in reverse.  The anti American taxpayer blood sucking, 70 year past, resulted with the crash of 2008. The “past” no methods no longer possible or viable. Nothing left to take. We have a $20 trillion debt.

Reforming the Civil Service? Another Major Reversal Of The Paste 70 Years

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 10:04 on May 31, 2018

President Donald J. Trump Is Reforming the Civil Service to Work for the American People.

Parts:

PUTTING TAXPAYERS FIRST: President Trump signed an Executive Order requiring agencies to negotiate better union contracts in a more efficient and transparent manner.

Americans will now be able to gauge for themselves whether they got a good deal. The order requires union contracts to be published in a public online database, promoting transparency.

WORKING FOR THE PEOPLE: The President’s Executive Order reducing spending on taxpayer-funded union activities will ensure Federal employees prioritize work for the American people.

The order directs agencies to work on renegotiating contracts to cut taxpayer-funded union time by an average of two-thirds, reducing union business interfering with agency operations.

The Social Security Administration estimates it could complete 135,000 more retirement applications or 17,000 more disability determinations annually, if taxpayer funding for union activities were redirected to public service functions.

STRENGTHENING THE MERIT SYSTEM: Through Executive Order, President Trump is making procedural changes to strengthen the merit system and streamline the removal of poor performers.

It takes 6 months to 1 year to remove a tenured Federal employee for poor performance, plus an average of 8 more months to resolve appeals. Tenured Federal employees are also 44 times less likely to get fired or laid off than private sector workers.

Tenured Federal employees have stolen agency property, run personal businesses from work, and been arrested for using drugs during lunch breaks and not been fired.

SIGAR’s Report of July 2017 recorded that “Afghan officials remain complicit… in the sexual exploitation of children by Afghan security forces,” but as noted by the Washington Post, “the Pentagon tried to block an independent assessment of child sex abuse crimes committed by Afghan soldiers and police, instead insisting on the creation of its own report offering a far less authoritative review of human rights violations perpetrated by US allies.”

It is now public knowledge that there is a culture of sodomy in Afghanistan and that Afghan men in positions of power at all levels enjoy immunity from prosecution for abusing young boys. The practice of bacha bazi, or “boy play” is revolting, and the word “play” is entirely inappropriate. Foreign Policy magazine states that “Demeaning and damaging, the widespread subculture of paedophilia in Afghanistan constitutes one of the most egregious ongoing violations of human rights in the world. The adolescent boys who are groomed for sexual relationships with older men are bought — or, in some instances, kidnapped — from their families and thrust into a world which strips them of their masculine identity. These boys are often made to dress as females, wear makeup, and dance for parties of men. They are expected to engage in sexual acts with much older suitors, often remaining a man’s or group’s sexual underling for a protracted period.”

Come on…the future’s so bright you gotta wear shades.

Just ask the hedge funds loaded up on PM derivatives. There asses are fully covered for all future possibilities because they have a boat load of GLD calls.

Or is it they don’t really give a fig because it’s other peoples money.

So they load the boat with this crap to ‘hedge’ their other equity longs thinking they have a legitimate model.

Either way, only when these idiots see this is not the case will precious metals rise.

Just watch these gambling fools. When they give up the ghost, PM’s will fly.

Cheers
