I know, bears are like people would be like the survival shows which I don’t get why they don’t make shoes out of leaves or something then complain of things that stick them looking for any kind of food they can find. Some have foraging and fishing patterns others that live near cities expanding out to their foraging areas.
In Calif the fires displace a lot of wildlifes home forage areas. Little was done to help them.
I remember the little boy at Disney. They should of had security there to keep tourists out of the water. At least a big picture of alligators for those who don’t read signs or language barriers. They only know about sharks not alligators. I doubt they would of went in the water if there were pictures of alligators all around it.

mmx royalty ..Newmont owns 28 % also owned by PAAS &Goldfields..looks like Royalties are where the money is going to be when its all done….

mmx-v-newmont-28

Its already part of S&P 500 which reminds me that McEwen said thats where he wants to go …..Maybe Newmont is showing him how to do it…..Even though he’s dissed the Royalties as taking future profits from miners …

But bears are drawn to the easy pickings of garbage cans . Well intentioned folks have had laws passed to prevent driving them away from urban zones with a BB gun or slingshot . Bears are not stupid. A bit of discomfort will drive them back into their natural habitat and foraging for food there . Now , hardly a month goes by without a report of bears sleeping in neighborhood trees and pets ( small dogs in particular ) ending up dead ( or devoured ? ). The crocodiles snack on pets ( and an occasional child ), too . A couple of years ago , a little boy was out of their Disney waterfront hotel with his dad , wading in the lagoon , when he was killed by an alligator . His father tried to fight it off , but couldn’t save his boy .

So here we go

They cancel Last Man Standing. Now ABC canceled Rosanne. Both Trump reporters, BUT yet Ovomet gonna have his own show. Someone should of warned Rosanne they’re gonna scrutinize every thing she says so just don’t tweet. Lol
Now they’ll blame it on Trump and surprised they haven blamed him for not stopping the volcano while their at it.
Hope people boycott ABC.

Global agreements don’t thwart those intent on building nuclear bombs .

I meant free speech that autocorrect put in spearhead. Sheesh

Roseanne Barr under fire again and expected this to happen because she supports Trump they canceled her show. Free spearheaded is only one sided.

She made a tweet about Jarrett lol referring to planet of the apes. She apologized but already fed the fire on the left. I don’t know why the right other than not worth jobs in media understandably don’t fire back on all the nasty things the left have come out with that isn’t even funny but immature and ugly.

Yeah maybe, something was probably around. I feel bad for wildlife now getting crowded out trying to survive. She looked young but still big enough to have cubs.
The strangest thing I saw was a sea lion dead on grass in between two traffic lanes. That and a plane that lanes there once in a emergency lol Probably got hit and driver didn’t bother to call so I called. It was probably still alive made it to the Grass. So it suffered while a thoughtless driver just drives off. What was weird about it was it was about 100 miles away from the ocean up hill. Guessing it swam up that water ways and wondering why? Heard over fishing is starving them, especially the little ones who can’t swim longer distances.

alex,

is china party to those “global agreements?”

And that company was working on the concept of side by side nuclear plants , one , a near breeder running on unenriched uranium fuel and the other on enriched fuel packed with Thorium which converts to fissile uranium . Global agreements NOT to re-process spent fuel ended that concept .

I remember cold fusion and other things like Buckey Balls can’t remember exactly what they did years ago in the 90 s still nothing. Remember that man who met will some oil companies because he successfully used water to run cars died of food poisoning. Then there was Telsa old time inventor who was going to invent free electricity for all and all his notes got scrapped. Some scientist tried one of his tests with what little information was left and it worked.

Goldie – just a young bear , inexperienced I suppose

Trying to cross a four lane road with a wide median , and looking the wrong way after wheeling around and dashing out .
Definitely not lactating , and too young to have weaned cubs . Maybe following a minute or two behind an older bear ?

Have to wonder which of the big banks got their hands caught in the cookie jar holding Italian bonds

Step forward the ECB, they have bought every bond issued by the Bank of Italy since QE started !!!!!!

and talking of the EU acting like thugs….we get this

“Italians Furious After EU’s Oettinger Says “Markets Will Teach Them” Not To Vote For Populists”

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-05-29/italians-outraged-after-eus-oettinger-says-markets-will-teach-them-not-vote

and no it is not getting better

Italian 10’s last @ 3.25 %….up 21 % on day and the Bund spread, was 2.94 up 28 % on the day !!!!!!!!!

Only the Rig is holding PM prices here.

“Imagine a world with free energy…”

probably not going to happen, for a lot of economic/

engineering reasons.  transmission and distribution infrastructure costs, for one.

…INSTEAD, imagine a world with very cheap energy.  that’s a little more realistic.  the chinese are doing some interesting r&d on cold fusion, thorium reactors, and more.  then, there’s the pebble bed reactor…   nuclear energy is just emerging from its infancy.

as an analogy, consider coal and steam technology about the point when somebody realized steam could push a turbine instead of just a reciprocating piston engine.  say, the end of the nineteenth century…

Tentacles are all intertwined between the world’s banks, just need one of the big dominoes to fall to effect every other bank.

Hard to believe a small country like Italy could have such a big impact.

$5300 gold works for me – as long as it happens by year end. 🙂

If the USD wasn’t so effing strong today, gold might really be ripping higher.

I’m stunned that it’s up at all.

Sounds like the bear was either running from something or to it. Did they check around and see if she had cubs?

Before 1971 The Official Price Of Gold Was $34/oz, When The True Value Was $140/oz.

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 11:54 on May 29, 2018

The anti USA gov’t was selling our Gold, redeeming foreign held “US Dollars,” at $34/oz. But unofficially it was trading at $140 (311% more) in black market USA or privately in foreign lands. We weren’t allowed to own gold before ’71.

Todays official price we all know is the BALONEY they tell us on their futures market. The global gov’t (bankers) are probably giving gold away at $1300 to “save face” and or fool the population.

So…..$1300 fake official price, plus 311% = $5,343/oz. as true value in todays money.

Here we go Italian Bonds crashing again…new Highs for day.

When I say blow up, I mean the whole western financial system will fall apart/blow up…they have effectively swept it all the bad news under the carpet and now it is festering badly.

Italy may well be the catalyst, as the next government will clash head on with the EU. The EU on all past form will behave like thugs and the Italians will say, Basta and walk.

Meanwhile the mkts only have the Rig holding them together….the longer they do not react, the more crazy they will look and the more the pressure will build.

Newmont sells its royalty portfolio to Maverix Metals for $17 million, stake in the junior

Posted by ipso facto @ 11:21 on May 29, 2018

Newmont Mining (NYSE:NEM) has agreed to sell its full royalty portfolio to Canada’s Maverix Metals (TSX-V: MMX), a precious metals royalty and streaming junior firm, in a transaction that gives the US miner $17 million cash and a 28%-stake in the Vancouver-based company.

The Greenwood Village, Colorado-based miner, the only gold company that forms part of the S&P500 index, has a portfolio of 54 precious metals and industrial minerals royalties, including the ones from TMAC Resources’ Hope Bay mine in Canada and Premier Gold’s McCoy Cove project in Nevada.

“Our strategic partnership and equity interest in Maverix generates value for both companies’ shareholders,” Randy Engel, Newmont’s Executive Vice President, Strategic Development, said in the statement. “Maverix’s management team has a strong track record of managing and growing high-quality royalty and streaming assets in favorable mining districts on four continents.”
