Loading ...Lets say you rented an apartment 20 years ago for $700/month, and the landlord never raised the rent. Twenty years later a NEW landlord raises you rent to market values, like $1,400/mo.
Most people would piss and moan about a double in rent. But you simply can not complain, because you got away with a very low rent cost for 20 years, eh?
