I think some first year art students could of did a better job painting. Nobody’s fault but their own choosing a racist instead of distancing themselves showing their colors so they can’t complain about it now. They’re stuck with it. They can name his snake in the grass.

Appropriately bad art for a bad President.  Why anyone would choose to be remembered in this fashion is…. just plain weird.

Good day. Hopefully it’s the start of a much bigger turn.

We need a few days of upside like this in a row before we think about pulling back.

Yes I know including some parents. They think the teachers might make a mistake or do the same. It comes down to they don’t trust them. At least then they could have access to tazers pepper spray and bean bag guns. Something. Instead they will talk about banning gun all together like the Dodo bird who had no predators until they did and now are extinct.

Not a bad day for the good guys!

Why don’t they arm and train ?

Because most in the field of education are liberals and are phobic when it comes to guns .

I have a friend in FL who goes to the same church as I do . She is a qualified NRA instructor and has been trying for over a year to get sort of a plan together in case of a shooter coming into the sanctuary during services . She has been stonewalled most of that time .

The legislators in FL have been working on a state law to allow teachers to arm and carry . I don’t know the status .

Hard work with a lot of responsibility missed events and Holidays to do it.Glad you appreciate that. Flight crew is good experience and a life line for the patients.
Happening now Florida Active school shooter. Why don’t they arm and train some of the school staff? 20 injured so far.

Goldie – yes some ICU nurses are tops – my eldest daughter was one .

Posted by Alex Valdor @ 14:36 on February 14, 2018

She was a college grad nurse , then did traveling nursing at three university hospitals and finally went back to PA to do ICU work at a Children’s hospital. There, one of her assignments was to care for a pediatric multiple organ transplant – one of the first for that extensive surgery . The family was poor and from out of country , and had been hosted by kind hearted families who opened their homes to them . They were interviewed on TV news when it was time to return home , and they thanked those who had been so kind to them , as well as the doctors who , to them , had performed a miracle , and ended by thanking ‘one special nurse’ and named my daughter. That still chokes me up many years later .

Later they made her a flight nurse , bringing children in by helicopter . I didn’t care for that very much since they are such a complex machine , and the team was scheduled for two 24 hour shifts per week , but now she is in admin work , so I am happier .

Yeah could be some funds covering their recently added shorts for losses. I think the last COT report showed funds increasing their short positions.

A big rally in the shares is long overdue. Hope this is the start.

The day I have been waiting for !

Posted by Alex Valdor @ 14:15 on February 14, 2018

My total portfolio is up 4% on the day !

I had been kicking myself for not bailing out a couple of weeks ago , and still more to go to recover , but today I am smiling .

Buygold re your “The most encouraging thing is the miners to me.”

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 13:59 on February 14, 2018

Mee too, it suggests the share buyers are getting confident that physical gold will go higher. Shorters? Buying to cover? Sounds logical if they got in early and taking profits. The later shorters are getting killed. Maybe its them too.

There sure seems to be some decent buying or short covering in the metals and the USD can’t find any buyers.

$1350 wasn’t a problem yet, but we’ll see how they close them.

The most encouraging thing is the miners to me.

If this is a real move and not a one off, then we’ll have some more 5% + up moves in the HUI like we have today.

Sorry to hear that about your wife. There are very good nurses in ICU but occasionally you can get someone that is not paying attention. Bleeding like that can show other signs too as rapid heart rate, trouble breathing due to lack of oxygen, feeling cold and other changes of impending shock cycle. My mother died due to her nurse not paying attention as well. They over medicated her and from what I was told could put the events together. Things like that don’t usually happen suddenly but over a time frame where breathing slower and slower in her case till they stop and went unnoticed.
That’s why medical staff nurses or doctors will usually camp out during the more critical times with family but in this case he couldn’t find my new number I gave him 3 months prior. She was okay prior to that day. She was already recovering from a hospital acquired infection which is another thing better safe guards need to be in place.

Vaccines are another thing ignored. Every month or sooner another post of a young happy healthy baby or toddler and a heartbroken young mother are posted who died shortly after being vaccinated. Sometimes these parents are threatened with the CPS if they don’t vaccinate and am surprised that no one has put a bullet in one of these doctors who forced it upon their child.

Finally, We Deserve This. The Idiots have Been Abusing Us For Years.

Maddog @ 11:02 re your…”just maybe we have re-entered the real world !!!!” Agreed.

ipsofacto @ 11:02 re your “Looks like the sweet spot for gold.” Agreed.

Buygold @ 12:05  re your “USD falling and higher rates– that’s interesting.” Agreed.

Comment:  I think the Idiots are boxed in. They are going for double or nothing with this non-sense “throttle up” increased spending, bigger national debt etc. They have a tangled up fishing line situation.

Too many complicated moving parts variables. I sense a lot of generational wealth, savings, dollar dumping on various inflation hedges, stocks, real estate, bit coin etc, but Gold and Silver are the best. They’ll all find out later.

I can’t see how inflation is going to prosper the economy. If things cost more and wages are stagnant, they should get a slowdown and more welfare. Its funny. The businesses adjust to 21% rates, high oil prices, high medical insurance, but they can’t seem to tolerate higher wages for entry level.

Fixing that would hurt them? And nothing else did?

Just as I flagged the bottom a few days ago with my alert on JNUG at 11.34 [down 12.5%]

Posted by Richard640 @ 12:24 on February 14, 2018

while comex gold was down just a buck…so I am noting silver today…that is lagging and coming off its high…also big up days in gold are often a top EVEN THOUGH superb looking chart and volume confirming  breakouts are logged–that doesn’t mean today will have ANY big reversal…but the following days could be “stall outs” with gold slowly sinking, eventually reversing the bullish technicals…that has been the pattern…but I will continue to hold my 8000 jnug [@11.54]…and give this move every benefit of the doubt…as I have said many times gold bottoms are extremely hard to catch…and hard to stick with…without  getting whipsawed out…I hope I am wrong and we are starting a long, dramatic run…
