They want “growth” is the wrong word. They TPTB want and need more money in the masses paychecks, it’s “wage inflation” they want. Growth of the economy really never ended in our lifetime that I know of. Look at the higher living standards in China and many other export nations.

I still have 60% in my positions, I just didn’t want give up anymore of the miniscule gains from the last month – not really seeing anything that says liftoff starts anytime soon. I dunno.

If I littered a gum wrapper, and wrote about it in a text 10 years ago, they could find it and drag me into court, fine me, and who knows what else. We all know “they” have every text message and every e-mail that I have ever sent or received. There are multiple copies floating around in service providers and government agencies, cloud storage, backup devices, etc.

What an absurd, ridiculous thing to say they can’t find 5 months of text messages these traitors sent. Right up to the very day Mueller was hired. Lock some of these jackasses up for contempt until they produce the data!

What a yo-yo of hope — whenever I about give up, some revelation comes out. Right now, if they get away with this charade of withholding crucial evidence, hope of any draining is draining again.

By the way, what is the holdup on releasing the amazing/shocking/stupendous/horrifying “4 page memo”? Seems rather short — what about the hundreds of pages of backup documentation? Who owns it? Congress? Or the executive branch which produced it?

Come on Mr. Trump. When will you start declassifying hundreds of thousands of things that have no business being classified in the first place.

Since you’ve sold a portion of your PM shares what’s your plan? Are you looking to get back in lower in the PM shares or are you looking at other opportunities? Just curious.

I had almost forgotten about the torque tube with the curved drive shaft inside . A unique design .
I suspect that the scarcity of that model was due to metal fatigue failure of that component as the years went by , and ultimately , unavailability of that component as a replacement part . Every revolution of the drivetrain flexed the shaft considerably , and I believe failures were common .

In the late 70s , 80s and 90s I got turned off on Cadillac because of motor failures . I had a beautiful ’79 Seville with the Olds diesel engine . I had to put a new motor in it after it blew a head gasket and that destroyed the engine . Later my wife had two Cadillacs with the split block design ( the engine was cast in two identical halves , four cylinders each , which were reversed and joined before final line boring of the crankshaft journals ) – both of those vehicles had to be sold ( at a huge loss ) when they began exhibiting imminent motor failure . They both were serviced regularly at the Cad dealer , so the failures were not due to lack of maintenance . I suspect that both the diesel issues and the split block problems could be traced back to beancounters and marketing pushing to get novel designs to market before all the bugs were worked out . The diesel was based on the 350 gasoline engine design and not strong enough for the pounding of diesel combustion .

The Lincoln is a 1963 actually – I think only the grille was different between the ’62 and ’63 .
