You probably know most of this but here goes;

-Production been shut down for a month, they haven’t laid anyone off yet as building a dam and stockpiling ore.

Mgmt afraid of lay offs as they won’t get a lot of workers back.

-Putting pressure on BC gov to issue water license. Have 6/7 miles of pipe almost ready to go to pipe in water from other lakes. Production will only be at 50% when that happens.

-Centerra has $200 million from Krygestan as a cushion. Kemess carrying on as plan. Both Kemess and Mt. Milligan Cheers mmdore shipped to MacKenzie by train for processing. That part didn’t make sense to me, maybe you could enlighten me.

Good point.
Here’s a list of cars made ” mostly in America. Not all American cars are mostly made here anymore.
2. Toyota Sienna
3. Chevy Traverse
4. Honda Odyssey
5. GMC Acadia
6. Buick Enclave
7. Chevy Corvette
To qualify for this list, cars must have at least 75 percent domestic parts. Last year’s top vehicle, the Ford F-150, fell out of contention after its redesign due to a drop-off in American-made parts.

I heard long ago the foreign car plants here (symbolic) in the USA are just assembly plants.  The exporters can cram more cars on a ship when dissembled. Plus, domestic assembly plants are good propaganda for the public. I say 95% of imports come in on ships. I would not be surprised if US car manufacturers have parts made in China et al. Don’t take anything for granted that the media says. Everything is somebody’s advertisement.

How many American cars are still made in America? You are no longer supporting the American worker until they bring back all the jobs. Toyota for one is making cars here. I heard the Ram is coming back here from Mexico to Michigan but the rest of their cars are staying there. It’s more choosing a car that fits the needs or in some cases the experience.
I liked your point on moving back the mileage on American cars back when lol. That reminded me of one of my brothers who would borrow his step dads sports car occasionally then turn back the mileage. Ferris day out. He tried to get me to help him once I told him no way. He couldn’t put it back but had to go forward all the way around. I guess it didn’t keep going in mileage then.

Don’t mind me Rich. I’m just way too patriotic. So much so, anyone I know friends and or relatives that own imported cars? To me they are not real Americans. How can you be an American and buy a Honda, Toyota, BMW, Volkswagen, Volvo, Range Rover, etc etc.

Agreed with your 12:02 post. The 12:50 post? Re part…

“the interests of non-citizens above everybody else in the country.”

Comment:

Unfortunately at least 25% of the population is foreign born not Americans. Probably another 25% are the children of foreign born. Now that 50% non-Americans. On top of that? The 50% left over ? 50% of them are third forth fifth generations that are sympathetic to, and favor foreigners more than fellow Americans.

That leave only 25% of the population that are REAL actual patriotic US American citizens. A big part of that 75% non Americans have been voting for foreign benefits. That’s why the situation got so bad. Many Americans don’t like fellow Americans. They tend to like under dog animals and under dog foreigners better.

Blow Back

Is there any doubt that the Democratic Party will be blamed for the government shutdown brought on by the DACA showdown? They insisted on a DACA deal that would have enabled everybody-and-his-uncle in a DACA person’s family to migrate to this country, a formula known as chain migration. Did they really believe that would go over? Or is it just more identity politics posturing?

I’m not the first observer to point out that it looks like the Democratic Party puts the interests of non-citizens above everybody else in the country. That’s what will be remembered about this gambit at the polls in November. It also looks like an engineered misdirection away from the more ominous fast-developing story about political corruption at the highest level of the Justice Department and its subsidiary, the FBI.

Unlike the allegations in the slow-cooking Russian Collusion story — allegations so far uncoupled from evidence — there’s plenty of evidence that FBI leadership deliberately mishandled several concurrent Hillary Clinton inquiries and, along with other players in the giant NSA matrix, launched the Russia Collusion story to derail Donald Trump’s legitimacy in office. Former President Obama and his White House aides are implicated in these machinations. Whether you’re a Trump fan or not, this ought to raise troubling questions about the legitimacy of the FBI.

I don’t think the gold shares have adjusted yet to gold’s price level. If gold doesn’t seem inclined to head south then the shares will adjust sharply higher.

or not.

Yeah, bleak times. I’m so tired of false starts and hopes, while everything else makes people rich.

Today looks a little better but really it seems like more of the same. USD down .3%, GLD up .15%, SLV flat

In the meantime oil up over 1%, copper up, and of course SM up.

Hard to find a reason to be in – seems way too late to chase the SM too.

Interest view on that story. Re this one part:

After all, the people have spoken. They want growth. They are fed up with Japanese-like-lost-decade.

Comment:

They want “growth” is the wrong word. They TPTB want and need more money in the masses paychecks, it’s “wage inflation” they want. Growth of the economy really never ended in our lifetime that I know of. Look at the higher living standards in China and many other export nations.

Plan? You mean I’m supposed to have a plan??? 🙂

I guess I’m going to wait and see for awhile and then go back in. I’d like to see the dollar/gold correlation work. I’d like to see the COT’s lighten up, but mostly I’d like to see the shares lead the metals.

I still have 60% in my positions, I just didn’t want give up anymore of the miniscule gains from the last month – not really seeing anything that says liftoff starts anytime soon. I dunno.

Ridiculous, lying sacks of —-

Posted by aufever @ 10:38 on January 22, 2018

If I littered a gum wrapper, and wrote about it in a text 10 years ago, they could find it and drag me into court, fine me, and who knows what else. We all know “they” have every text message and every e-mail that I have ever sent or received. There are multiple copies floating around in service providers and government agencies, cloud storage, backup devices, etc.

What an absurd, ridiculous thing to say they can’t find 5 months of text messages these traitors sent. Right up to the very day Mueller was hired. Lock some of these jackasses up for contempt until they produce the data!

What a yo-yo of hope — whenever I about give up, some revelation comes out. Right now, if they get away with this charade of withholding crucial evidence, hope of any draining is draining again.

By the way, what is the holdup on releasing the amazing/shocking/stupendous/horrifying “4 page memo”? Seems rather short — what about the hundreds of pages of backup documentation? Who owns it? Congress? Or the executive branch which produced it?

Come on Mr. Trump. When will you start declassifying hundreds of thousands of things that have no business being classified in the first place.

Good morning Buygold

l,

We really shouldn’t be surprised with the headline from last week that the Federal Reserve is working on a proposal to ease up on bank leverage limits. From the article in Bloomberg:

The Federal Reserve is working to relax a key part of post-crisis demands for drastically increased capital levels at the biggest banks, according to people familiar with the work, a move that could free up billions of dollars for some Wall Street’s giants.

Trump is engaging in pro-growth fiscal policies at a time when unemployment is already low. And maybe even more importantly, his attitude is seeping into all levels of government. This recent Federal Reserve bank leverage policy proposal change is a perfect example.

America has elected a real-estate-developer-turned-reality-TV-star into the oval office. To think he doesn’t want easier money, laxer credit policies, more leverage, and higher deficits, is just naive. And it is even more foolish to believe that the Federal Reserve won’t underwrite these policies. Yeah, they will mouth some words about staying vigilant, but the risk is way higher that growth explodes and gets away on them than the other way round. After all, the people have spoken. They want growth. They are fed up with Japanese-like-lost-decade.
