Does look good for businesses, raises to some and expansion. I still think they need to privatize SS put a life insurance on it for survivors which would also help businesses and keep unscrupulous hands off it. Calif always want to hit the poorest but they accuse republicans when they’re just as bad and use SS for their slush funds then call them entitlements. Only good thing is since that Brown got in was passing a budget although I don’t think it’s all going where it’s supposed to. I remember getting called in before along with other nurses asking us if we could wait to get our checks so they could pay all the other workers living pay check to pay check although so we’re we lol but me and a few others did so much overtime were we’re going to get bigger checks than normal too boot. Before taxes anyways as taxes took most of it. We agreed but they got a loan instead. More than once we had to worry about that. Only thing good he’s done.
We’re hearing a lot less of doom and gloom preparedness finally since Obama left but I’m not putting my guard totally down. Theses always some nut rearing it’s ugly head like NK or a natural disaster.

I didn’t see the news on this but it couldn’t have been too good! NNA.V

interesting little silver stock.  exploration/development stage property in north mexico.  large land position, lots of silver, which is good, but there’s also some copper and a butt-load of zinc (billions of pounds).  zinc prices look interesting the last couple months.

svbl up by better than double since september.

I could strongly feel Obama was tipping off the regimes and was a radical supporter. Probably why he didn’t call it radical down played it and allowed ISIS to do its own thing. The poverty of young men over there could easily push them into joining regimes or starve. Not only Israel but everyone one including our troops. That and leaving people behind to continue to spy on us.
Companies doing better now and the globalist no longer getting their gravy train via our tax dollars. They are aware of a growing deficit but didnt care. They should of put those billions they sent to Iran into SS and Medicare. Instead Obama was ” borrowing it.”
Oracle may have some issues if it doesn’t negotiate because It could lose some big online sales like Amazon and sales force for cheaper services. Amazon also is speculated to buy TARGET. I didn’t do much DD on Amazon in the beginning, thought it was a online book store at first so missed out of the bottom of that one but did have Target. Sold it and all equities before the crash of 08 never bought them back and took the tax hit. Otherwise business are on the move. Then so will be the Fed.

I’m staying cautiously optimistic about gold for 18 but can’t put a po on it right now and not gonna guess.

Re Lower Dollar and Higher Gold/Oil

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 13:08 on January 2, 2018

These are not natural market forces. We have been looking at abrupt manual adjustments done by the “invisible” or behind the scenes master planners. Look at the 2014 “higher dollar” adjustment. No way that 6 month run up was natural. Also note the 2017 “lower dollar” adjustment.

https://finviz.com/futures_charts.ashx?t=DX&p=w1

Down here, look at the falling oil in 2014 (inverse higher dollar) Note also the late ’15 early ’16 oil low, coinciding with the late ’15 early ’16 gold bottom.

the most beaten up miners are getting the biggest pops. Especially in the small caps.

Metals sure are tentative though, even with the USD unable to get off the floor.

Obama tipped off Iran-the greatest con man in history!

Posted by Richard640 @ 10:47 on January 2, 2018
Iranian Revolutionary Guards al-Quds Force commander Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani. Image via The Iran Project
The report, though unconfirmed, originated in a Kuwaiti newspaper and is now going viral through a Times of Israel story. The Times of Israel summarizes the context as follows:
Thursday’s report by al-Jarida, which has been known to publish improbable-sounding stories about Israel, was widely picked up by Israeli media. There was no immediate reaction to the report from Jerusalem or Washington.
Three years ago, Israel came close to assassinating Soleimani near Damascus, al-Jarida quoted unnamed source as saying, but the Americans tipped off the Iranians against the background of intense disagreement between Washington and Jerusalem.
That was during the Obama administration, which, according to reports at the time, was so focused on securing the 2015 Iran nuclear accord that it chose to overlook and even obstruct efforts to clamp down on Iranian-backed terror organizations. It’s not clear if the reported tip-off was related to efforts to secure the Iran deal.

“The trend is your friend; don

t fight the FED….as for gold

Gold’s rally is proceeding apace in typical fashion-not too hot-not too cool–no pullbacks yet–but a lot of shake out action–like last friday when gold and silver stocks were only up a few pennies…even today silver is atypical–barely a gain in futures but silver stocks with decent gains…ragged, tentative divergent…all the rallies are like that. But I stick with my positions with the pious hope that G&S will catch fire and do a moon shot…
