I’m pretty sure of one thing — I would rather be confronted by a hairless gator than a hairless Farmboy!

FlaGold, 9:44, I gata say I’m getting a bit worried about Farmboy. Not sure if it is the swamp gas or his bullion licking but woo woo…

If he graduates to window licking, you best run and hide.

Re your…”The lack of understanding from the gold promoters is mind boggling. So if you think gold has been manipulated lower because inflation has gone up while gold hasn’t could you kindly explain why gold dropped for 20 years from 1980 to 2001. Most certainly there was inflation during that time but gold didn’t go up? Why not? It’s very easy to show how little understanding you have of how the markets work and anyone listening to you is most assuredly going to lose their shirts.”

Comment: I am not a Gold promoter. I study and analyze the evolution of the domestic and global economy. By the things you say, its obvious you don’t know anything about the evolution of the economy after 1900. Its a long story and I don’t have time to educate you.

Nobody has watched the game longer and more intently than I have. All inflations (increase money supply and credit) end in a deflation. The INFLATION (increase in money supply)was 1934 to 1971.

After 1971 de-peg gold backing, prices started rising even faster from prior ’34-71 printing.  Dollar fell, after ’71, because nobody knew what it was worth, as it dropped and inverted prices higher ’71 – ’81, the Fed started REMOVING money supply, (’71-’81 with rates to 21% to suck in money supply, deflation) as the prices were rising after the gold de-peg.

All commodities naturally went into deflation starting in 1980 to 2001, NOT JUST GOLD, coinciding with the strong dollar globalization policy to grow foreign countries economies, and take away from the US economy to equalize global wealth. Which has reversed in ’08.

The 1934 to 1971 period was massive inflation, over investment PRINTING for WW I WW II Korea Vietnam, war materials combined with space travel and stupid moon landings, same as the roaring twenties (1913-1929) inflation for WWI and “fun”. That caused deflation in the 1930s.

The 20 year deflation in all commodities after 1981 to 2001, including deflation in wages after 1981 to present in private sector. I have no more time. Put more thought into what you think you know and learned from out dated guru Armstrong. Gold is the pituitary gland of the financial system. Banks and gov’t store it. Its real money. Not like paper stocks and bonds, or real estate that you can’t hide or move. And not divisible.

It’s very easy to see how little understanding you have of how the economy works and anyone listening to you and Armstrong, are most assuredly wasting money for his service, and going to lose their shirts.

What the heck was John Kerry doing down in the Antarctic a few weeks back? Sounded kinda strange to me. Interesting to see the ‘warm lakes’, mountains of coal, small cities with telephone poles, but for what purpose? OH, and one more question, “Are there any fish in those warm lakes???

It’s bad enough the hair on the top of my head is disappearing faster than Obama’s Legacy, but my legs seemed confused as to whether they belong on a man, or a woman. Most of my life the hair on my legs went from top to bottom, all the way down to my ankles. I have noticed I am getting the legs of an old man, or young woman, in that my legs aint so hairy from sock level down. I have a theory that socks and John Deere hats are hair killers. 🙂 In a few more years if the rate continues, the hairless parts will meet at my belly button and I will be totally furless. I will look like one of those shaved body builders except without the body. Nature sure has some funny quirks.

Seen a fellow the other day, must have been 80. He was as bald as an eagle on top, but had a two foot pony tail hanging down his back. Was thinking if he just combed it all forward, he would have a full head of hair and really bushy eyebrows.  Just a few vain thoughts on aging. You asked. 🙂

Tough spot for Armstrong and Dent and their $800 to $900 calls

Posted by ipso facto @ 9:46 on February 2, 2017

They’ve been so insistent on these numbers that they can’t back down now. They may hold this view for years as the gold market calls them fools. Neither of them believes in the rig … even when it is put right in their face. This makes the whole of their TA work worthless. JMO

Probably something that comes with old age, but I agree with you. Take bits and pieces of intel from whatever source you deem reliable, and then build your own trading platform. Or any platform. The search for what works begins with having an open mind.

Joe12pk, I for one would like to say thanks for posting Armstrong turn dates. Your timing was impeccable..

Posted by macroman3 @ 8:44 on February 2, 2017

Yesterday morning I came across the new Harry Dent book promo to which I blew off to his stopped clock routine. He says the next three years are the focal point culminating in 70-90% equity losses. Yeah yeah, preaching to the choir.

I immediately was going to ask Armstrong followers (thinking goldie) what his turn dates were but never got around to the request. Ta Da, there was J12pk one step ahead, complete with back tested proof. Thank you.

Now I don’t hold Martin up as THE guru, as I certainly don’t Dent or Jimbo or any (insert a hunnert different names) but all techniques and research are valuable pieces to the puzzle.

I resisted Maya’s numerous suggestions to check out Clif High until just recently. The dude is definitely woo woo out there but some real nuggets of wisdom a simpleton like me appreciated.

Anyways, opinions are like belly buttons. Maybe in my old age I’m getting wiser as I am more open minded, something to consider eeos.
