Goldielocks- Goro

The other reason for the price going up is my 8000 shares are now around 2800… I don’t know what kind of split they call it anymore…. Reverse engineer that and you’ll get the real price…..

Speaking of short squeeze

Posted by goldielocks @ 9:50 on September 13, 2026

I didn’t get this message on Goro till yesterday. It’s finally doing pretty well, had no debt, planning to expand production and E Sprott owns shares. Last July is dropped to about a dollar when it merged with a producer and shot up to 4 dollars the next day. Consolidating right now after a double top.

Once the seller borrowed and delivers the shares why would they have to keep borrowing?  Do you mean for other borrowers that want to go short?

That shorting explanation of SNG makes no sense…… this is what really happens…..A short has no shares ….they sell to a buyer, the buyer want’s his/her shares, so the seller has to borrow the shares from a pre existing long, which they do and then deliver those shares to the new buyer…..there are no shares to give back, as the new buyer holds them.

As long as the short remains they have to keep borrowing. That is why a short squeeze can happen in a stock which has a known and well managed float. Once the buyers get to a certain level of the float, the shorts get panicked, cannot borrow as longs refuse to lend and are forced to cover.

That was how it worked before electronic trading took over, plus most importantly the physical certificates actually changed hands. Once the certificates became digital it all changed….Off exchange trading took off, exchanges opened all over the world, Germany is particularly bad, look on Yahoo for a stock quote and you will see quotes from exchanges in Hamburg, Munich etc…..plus you have the Dark Pools run by GS, JPM etc…..Then it seems the SEC are very lax to say the least in policing short delivery certificates. So in essence the ‘float’ is now an unknown number of shares, just like a Commodity ….That is why shorts exist in abundance, they no longer have to deliver, or very rarely.

That is how I read the problem. That said, if that is the situation the shorts are way more exposed than normal, as once sufficient buyers turn up and demand delivery the naked shorts will have to find the shares, they never borrowed to deliver and by definition that will only happen at much higher prices.

Btw I have faint memory of crash landing scenarios in certain situations is aiming for trees that could knock off the wings of the plane to help prevent a explosive fire on impact from the fuel stored in them. That perhaps they’re built to knock off easier for that reason.

Or use my life history as expertise that does not apply to the knowledge needed to build a reinforced wall but without this knowledge it’s easy to take any picture and believe at face value what ever it says about it.

  • Impact physics: A massive commercial airliner does not punch a clean silhouette of itself into a reinforced concrete building. [1]
  • Wing behavior: Structural and engineering experts explain that when American Airlines Flight 77 hit the Pentagon, one wing hit the ground and the other was sheared off upon impact with the heavy load-bearing columns. [1, 2]
  • Building structure: The section of the Pentagon hit had also been recently retrofitted with steel reinforcement, which absorbed and concentrated the core impact, causing a massive initial breach that later led to a partial structural collapse. [1, 2]
  • Wreckage: Investigators from the Department of Defense and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) recovered extensive plane debris, including landing gear, fuselage fragments, engine parts, and the flight data and cockpit voice recorders.
  • Eyewitnesses: Thousands of people on nearby highways saw the commercial airliner fly directly into the building.
  • Security footage: Released security camera footage captures the approach of Flight 77 just before impact

Mr.Copper @ 13:33 What I liked about the picture I posted was it appears to be taken before equipment has changed things.

Posted by silverngold @ 14:18 on September 12, 2026

What I didn’t like in the picture is there appears to be a dead dog in the foreground bottom right, the first victim of the rocket impact?

Once all those cranes and heavy equipment have began dismantling things it is impossible to determine what initially happened, but in the image I presented it clearly shows NO damage to the building on either side that should be there if it was hit by the aircraft they claim. Go back and have a look! SNG

UK warning. They’re changing the age to be sent to the front lines in Ukraine to 65 now. I wonder what Russians thinking while they’re taking their time getting ready to surprise them with war. They’re also conducting training on the Russian border. Sometimes things seem so stupid like watching children play make believe you just have to laugh. Has it ever occured to them what might be waiting for them by then? I wonder what kind of false flag they will invent.

If you look at that pipe on the left side, bent outward, and all the debris outside the hole, it looks like the hole was blown outward by the impact of the plane flying into the building. My guess is the hole might be on the far side of where the plane hit.

deer79 @ 12:11 I have no proof but this I have stated several times as my theory why the shares can get no traction.

Posted by silverngold @ 13:18 on September 12, 2026

You buy a miner and the shares go to your broker.

Your broker ‘loans” your shares to a “short seller”, (for a fee paid to your broker), who uses your shares to short the market.

After your shares are used to short the market by the short seller, the “short seller” returns your shares to your broker, thus no shares have to be covered.

All legal because the short seller was not “naked short” when he shorted , and all shares are accounted for. A brain twisting loophole but all legal IMO!

Fair enough. I’ve been beaten down enough amongst the unicorn bullish stories often enough that I take everything with a grain of salt. Mostly Rule was looking at the long term. He was also predicting for the hosting countries that the miners are going to be paying out more as they get more prosperous. He’s says that once all the costs of the mine has been paid then the host country is going to be receiving around 50% of profits. His opinion.

We are human and always learning. But sometime people can form opinions of something and no matter how ridiculous is becomes like the whole narrative such as a plane going 530 not a older camera is going to get a picture of something passing it at .147 miles per second in those days would get more than a blur, you know about cameras, that can be tested, or further the hijackers were Jewish, not, or that the plane landed safely and the passengers including 11 yr old children on a school trip, a news woman and a high ranking retired officer were taken somewhere and killed and so forth and negating the hundreds of eye witnesses when you weren’t there. Thats making a conclusion based on a accusation of another without evidence is harder to undo than remaining open minded.

The difference with my new little radiation detector you insisted was good enough but found it wasn’t the difference was the truth which you acknowledged because it wasn’t a battle on who’s right but if the information is and sng did not acknowledge who didn’t even have one. .

I only watched the first 2 minutes or so of the RR interview.

So many have been pounding the table with the mantra that miners are severely lagging the metals. But does ANYONE EXPLAIN WHY????

Does anyone specifically address the algorithms and the incessant shorting??

Its one thing to make a statement, but if you can back that statement up with specific facts as to why, then and ONLY then will I think you’ll start to get the message to individual investors that starts to make some sense of it all.

Just my two cents worth….
