They did manage to normalize the other markets. SM is flat/mixed, oil flat, Bitcoin has recovered some and is up $1K from last night. Rates and the dollar are down – fuel to our fire.
PM shares a smokin’s hot out of the gates in electronic trading. Let’s keep it that way.
Gold got as high as $5110. I still think it’s going right thru $5K and headed toward $6. Silver as high as $110. Who knows where the music stops in that beast. Both metals are acting as if something terrifying is on it’s way. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
Would anyone trust that insurrectionist interfering with ICE and posing a threat while siding with criminal illegals he didn’t even know working as a nurse over citizens? All the organized crime and theft going on? Defending yourself, family, country men and woman is one thing, not taking up arms and preventing ICE doing just that.
Even if he survived should have been jailed and lost his licence to practice medicine and if obstructing with a car lose their drivers licence. Anyone interfering should not just get jailed knowing theyll be bailed out and back but have a restraining order so they can no longer get that easy protest money.
Trump has to declare it an insurrection and crush it, right now. Walz, Frey and every other government employee including judges need to be arrested and jailed. If he doesn’t stop this here and now. There will be civil war in all the big blue cities.
Unfortunately, I think he’s going to wait until an ice agent is killed.

ferret – you made me take a gander at the other markets as well. Looks like we are on our own in terms of being the only thing moving up. Glad to see crypto in trouble, if we could pick up some of those funds it would be enormous.
I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. We know they love to run us up on Sunday nights and drop us by Monday morning, but with other markets cracking, they may have bigger fish to fry. Love what gold is doing.
