maddog – I don’t know much about Warsh, other than the name and that he’s been around in the banking/academia circles for a long time. They say he’s a hawk. I don’t know if that is true either. That won’t fly with Trump. If he is indeed a Bessent guy, that is the best news we could get. Bessent is awesome. I can only hope so. I truly hate the US Senate.

One more thing. Judy Shelton who I mentioned earlier said that Trump told her that in July 2026 they would revalue gold to $20K and introduce gold backed bonds. That might be the only thing that could help the dollar going forward. I believe her, Bessent’s largest holding is gold.

deer79 – the industrial guys should be buying today or Monday Shanghai as you say. This may not get a lot cheaper for them. We’ll see. I like how the shares are behaving for a change.

Well that’s a switch.  Premiums to keep the price up instead of down. If there wasn’t a shortage how would they get away with that?

I heard people were running to sell their silver and their gold for fiat the other day. Hope they needed it for a good reason. A lot of the stocks surprised their current first round phyzz target  highs because of demand for the metals so profit taking would be normal but not all the mines have even hit these temp highs yet.

I have to think that the savvy buyers are also well aware that this could very well be end of the month window dressing by the scum, and are stepping back until next week….

Still ugly as sin, but a good thing.

Just reading up on Warsh….seems he was/is a heavy critic of the way the Fed was/is run and to me most important is on message with Bessant…..Bessant talks the same language….my guess is the revaluation is in safe hands.

Is recent action a bear flag…if so Dollar goes Offered….if it fails, dollar will be bid….the bear flag is what Dollar bears have got excited about…..

Let’s not forget about the outsiders hearing about higher gold prices and the strangers coming into our sand box by buying GLD or buying Gold futures on COMEX.
I heard long ago when people that buy or sell GLD the managers have to buy or sell the gold. Way back they showed on business news, the inside of where the gold was stored. They didn’t show the outside location.
Plus only the Banks can redeem GLD shares for gold and need to have a minimum huge position I can’t remember the amount. But the masses of little people buying or selling GLD are probably interfering with the natural prices.

Just remember, right now the government of Minnesota is providing cover for the protesters. Judges don’t enforce laws against them. However, if me and a group of friends went in and created havoc for the right, not only would we be arrested by the local authorities, we would also be arrested by the Feds and prosecuted. In that way it’s not different from the UK.

Now, if Trump were to put out a call to arms for help, different story. You’d see hundreds of thousands of men come out and support.

That’s why he cannot give an inch. Not only are the illegals breaking the law but so are the protesters. ICE is doing their jobs. If a protester interferes they deserve what happens to them, even death.

I see the dollar bounced back hard. Wow.

Still surely the US will get tired of the Dems, who whenever in trouble….ie the Fraud in Minneapolis , take to the streets and try and burn the joint down…..that sthick can’t work forever.
