I’m sure many migrants take the Europeans for saps … probably the same in the US. Many people won’t work unless forced to. Some would rather starve to death!
Gotta side with ferrett on this one. Amazing painting and succinctly described.
Another Turner fan here. Love his watercolors as well. An absolute master.
I don’t like muddied, indistinct painting with undefined objects. The ‘light’ thing does nothing for me.
If the painting was not markedly associated with the GWR would anyone have an idea what it represents?
Just shows what a Philistine I am, I just know what I like.
So there’s that.
Neither the dollar or rates show any sign of backing off their trek higher. Course, neither does tech.
Plus, there’s a good chance they would have to work for a woman. Not gonna happen.
Wow, that’s a powerful painting! The use of light, the only crystal clear image being of the stack as it burns its way through the misty rain, the raw power of the epitome of technology … anyone would think it could be a Turner.
I like Turner. And Brunel.
p.s. the viaduct is still the main line of the Western railway, widened now to four tracks. Nobody believed it could be safe because the arches are so flat. It remains the flattest arch bridge ever built, 188 years old.
That’s a lot! NGD is down as well.
PM stocks getting crushed with the overall stock markets…..
Ipso; CDE is down some 13% today! Typical hemorrhaging with the takeover…..

I’m glad you have such confidence in us! 🙂
PS Sounds like a giant can o worms to me!
Yes we need to get everybody here on that train … and get them to tell their family and friends to do the same.
If enough people do this the commies will be stopped in their tracks.
But people are not that smart … which is why a digital gulag might be on the way.
Revelation says it lasts 42 months … a lot of bad things can happen in 42 months … including you losing a great deal of your wealth and freedom.
So act accordingly.
Cheers
Southern Nigeria is Christian, northern is Islamic.
Southern Nigeria has estimated oil reserves of 37 billion barrels. Gee, wonder if this could be a factor in the reputed assault on Christians?
Venezuela has the highest no. of oil reserves in the world, mostly undeveloped. But its OK, Uncle Sam is there to root out the drug traffickers!
Vote! Vote!
Trump was just being interviewed. The question was: Do you envision boots on the ground? Trump says “Could be”
The Christians are being wiped out by the Jihadi’s there. (My comment)
Eric Yeung 👍🚀🌕
@KingKong9888
So China pulled the trigger first. #Silver is now under export restrictions as confirmed by China’s Ministry of Commerce.
This is while the U.S. is still undecided on #Silver’s critical mineral status and shipping all its strategic #Silver to the LBMA to be in turn shipped to India and China.
THANK YOU UNCLE SAM & TRUMP FOR THE CHEAP SILVER!!!
“Indicative of lackluster institutional interest in PM equities??”
That could be true but there could be other reasons as well. “High valuation” perhaps. Maybe the NGD guys are poor negotiators? 🙂 Lackluster institutional interest … I think is very changeable as well.
My view is biased. I think at some point we have Tsunami type action where all is swept before the wave.
So Turner is rated as a notable artist and all his work attains automatic credential?
“It’s Turner so it must be good! hang it in the National Gallery!
Give me a break…
Based on Friday’s closing prices, only a 16% premium paid for NGD. In early markets this morning, NGD is only trading @$8.05 ( takeout price would be equivalent to $8.51). Indicative of lackluster institutional interest in PM equities??

A 16% premium is not much.
