Today we see either a test or a warning in Hui. I didn’t look at XAU yet, was busy. It seems a no brainer the PMs will be in demand but still can be depending on economics and demand and politics. Because it’s on going for years to come and depending on production it’s not going to just be a zero to sixty in two seconds.
Deer I agree, with more people with no exposure to PM stocks and what makes them move let alone juniors and explorers should be warned not to think they can just throw darts with picking stocks vs buying the phyzz. I still get a kick out of M Pinto’s honest experience with buying miners who said paraphrasing, about why he doesn’t go long on junior miner stocks. That if anything can age you before your time its holding the juniors. Some explorer’s don’t even plan on producing what they found but don’t announce it. They’re just waiting for someone to buy it or merge and even then with whom, what company.

Z was placed there for war, never meant to honor the agreement and hyped the war drums with propaganda with help to believe they would have to fight instead and they would win and now how many of them that believed them are dead. As far as what they’re doing including to Hungary and Slovakia and murder of innocent people shows once a Nazi always a Nazi. They’re acting more like a lawless third world gang than a country that wants to join nato and we shouldn’t be giving them any funding or weapons to misuse or attack any NATO country and where IS NATO? They’re in on it?

Broke through resistance today but was rejected and pushed back down barley higher than open. Can’t decide if its a gravestone doji or shooting star but both are bears took control. Still sitting on top of prior resistance , new support, at least of yet wasn’t driven lower and under resistance but it is what it is.

Otherwise he would have honoured the Minsk agreements, and the war would never have happened. Putin won’t miss the revenue from Hungary and Slovakia. Z will continue the suppression of Hungarian speakers in Transcarpathia. Ukrainians will suffer even more from loss of electricity. Meanwhile Russia just grinds on inch by inch, destroying the Ukrainian fighting force for generations to come. Russia knows from centuries of experience how to play the long game. And win.

Two heavy volume dumps
First one at 3:13 pm and the next bigger dump at 3:54 pm for gold.
Silver had one steady dump that also started at 3:13 pm
Imagine that, someone dumping paper on both metals at exactly the same time with no regard for price.
It appears they will defend $90 silver and $5200 gold for as long as they can.
No change in the SM or the dollar, just pm’s. What a joke our markets have become.

There’s a few losers in there, but that’s life. I’m getting shafted on my wife’s picks, UNFI, ADBE,and my crappy SICPQ, TMQ. Those must have been other stocks at one time that have been taken over and left for dead.
PM shares lagging

The article that you posted mentions lots of compelling reasons to own PM stocks.
My portfolio is, unfortunately, littered with mostly junior explorers, who have to continually issue more and more shares ( usually in “private placements”) because drilling is very expensive. I understand that it takes time ( and sometimes a bit of luck) for these companies to successfully determine what they have, and then make that transition to a producer.
But if these values are so compelling, why is it that we haven’t seen some ( or any for that matter; especially as Gold & Silver have climbed much higher) mergers and or straight out acquisitions??
Today seems to fall into the old pattern that if the shares lag, a good old fashioned a** whooping is right around the corner……
I know that you’re trying to be helpful by posting these articles, but I’ve been waiting for some 18+ years for these little guys to really take off. My patience has worn very very thin…..
They’ve probably already lost some wealthy people. Who wants to live in a place where this is even contemplated? The writing is on the wall.

The Netherlands is walking back its planned tax on unrealized gains.
Dutch Finance Minister Heinen just said the new Box 3 wealth tax law “cannot proceed as it is” and he’s going “back to the drawing board.”
“We are not deaf to the criticism,” he said. “We want to move as quickly as possible to a system where you only tax actual gains.”
