In the UK incidence of childhood diabetes has increased from 3.84 per 100,000 in the decade 1951-1960. It’s now 204.5 per 100,000. A 5,225% increase. The cost to the economy, and to the taxpayer, is phenomenal just for one disease. Conversely, the profit to the pharmaceuticals, and the doctors, is phenomenal just for one disease.
Btw, never donate to medical research charities. All you are doing is subsidising big pharma, which is where all the money ends up. Straight to their bottom line.

Sounds like a great trip. I’m glad after such fierce fighting on both sides not just one in WW1-2 there are still beautiful historic sites left untouched without being destroyed. I remember one of my patients a veteran was fighting with Patton. I can’t say the exact words but Patton relieved himself in the Rhine River during WW11. Patton was quite a character. So they were relieved you weren’t a American Maga. That’s interesting. Perhaps they should stay in those fairy tale towns over there.
