The shares have been lagging for a long time. This isn’t like the old days. All the animal spirits in the miners seem to have vanished. BTC? Costs rising almost as fast as the POG? I sure don’t know what’s going on with them! I imagine most buyers are sitting on losses so far. Sheesh

Do you have the results of the poll we did some months ago about the future gold/silver ratio?

I don’t know that I do. It just didn’t make a lot of sense to me that Gaetz would be picked as he’s so controversial. Who knows what deals are made behind the scenes? Maybe Thune says to Trump, if you give up Gaetz, I’ll get everyone else through.

I do find it odd that Gaetz meets with Senators and comes out saying how he “greatly appreciated” the feedback. That’s not Gaetz, he would call them out for the RINO’s they are.

Hopefully I am right though, and he’s appointed to Rubio’s seat. Lara Trump doesn’t make sense. They need her in the RNC. Byron Donalds would be my next choice. We’ll see.

Couple hours left; it would be nice if we kicked it into high gear toward the close. The shares have been weak today.

I think this was all a setup, to see heads explode in the Senate and make the rest of the confirmations go smoothly. I believe they’ll pick a guy by the name of Mike Davis, which is who they really wanted. Apparently, he’s a pit-bull just like Gaetz but knows his way around the DOJ better.

I think the plan was always to put Gaetz in Rubio’s Senate seat, where he’ll be a disrupter and a force.

This allows the swamp to think they won something.

Either I’m right about this, or it’s Swamp 1 – Trump-0. This is how all the RINO pundits will frame it, and the Demons will celebrate, not knowing they’ve been played.

I would love to see Kari Lake in a Trump admin. He should put her in charge of election integrity and have her start with investigating AZ.

Last November, one year ago, NVDA was around $300 and the banter here was that it was way overvalued, I agreed. Now, split-adjusted it is around $1500 a share, a 5 bagger.

We’re lucky in a pm share to get a 50% move in a given year, although there are a few that have done better. Not many though.

This really is a joke of a sector. It’s great that we’re up around $2650 or so, and the year has been good, 30% gains. But that pales in comparison to Bitcoin, which has almost doubled, but check me, doubled just in the last few months alone. We watch that thing spike 3-5% on a regular basis. We’ve had maybe 3-5 days where gold has gone up more than 2%, during this entire rally, but most days, it’s little 1/2% moves higher.

I literally don’t see gold as anything other than insurance for a fiat implosion anymore, but even in that case, I’m not sure it will have been better to have gold or just tech stocks, unless there is no gold available, and it seems there always is.

Adogsbody – I don’t know when it was last ratio was 15-1, but I think it’s safe to say it will never be 15-1 again. The money masters and their manufacturers in defense and elsewhere need cheap silver. They’ll never let it have true price discovery.

Yesterday, one of my holdings SVM (Silvercorp) announced an offering of $130 million senior secured convertible notes. There wasn’t any mention of how these notes were going to be priced. The algorithms immediately thought that this was dilutive and took the stock down 12% on the day.

Today, the company announced that the “initial conversion price of the Notes represents a premium of approximately 30% over the last reported sale price of the Company’s common shares on November 20, 2024.”

Dollar coming down a little more with rates.

We should be up more, but we’re not – especially silver. Then again, gold finished higher yesterday with the strong dollar, so maybe it’s make-up day. Still frustrating when we see Bitcoin up over $3K – amazing higher than the price of an oz. in one day? It must be a magic invisible coin.

Weekly jobs report beat as usual. Philly Fed laid an egg, forecast to be up 7, came in -5.5

PM shares OK. Looks like we’ll need rates and the dollar to drop a lot more today if we’re going to get some real traction.
