I wouldn’t be surprised if the jobs numbers were bad with the nit wits who lost touch with reality on a drug fest of something permanently. They don’t even try to hide it anymore but what they do try to hide is the cesspools that used to be city’s that they caused. Even Beverly Hills shopping and restaurant district is closing or closed down and their woke kiddie porn  garbage they tried to feed the public are losing money which hurts the cinemas if they keep putting out that crap no one’s gonna waist their time or money let alone bring their kids. Yes there’s always idiots but it won’t be enough to support the neutral cinemas. I guess the good directors have aged out and the idiot woke drive off the good writers so they can try to shove their garbage down peoples throat while their bad ideas just ruin another industry and more jobs. Better off rolling it up and adding it to what their already smoking.

I don’t think gold should go anywhere except in a sideways to up in the coming months but who knows what going on behind the curtain.

I guess the jobs numbers are going to be really bad here in the states this am, so they need to get a jump on any potential rally? There’s nothing fundamental going on, no big move in the dollar or rates.

Once again though, the shares sort of told the tale. They should have been up much more yesterday.

If this holds up throughout the day, GLD will actually close below its 50 day. That would be crazy.

I’m also wondering if this might be the beginning of massive volatility like they had in the 79-80 period. Not sure a healthy market would have this type of swing, but I have no idea.

We almost never come back on days like this, would be quite something if we did.

If it plays out as it points we are looking good! Hard for the usual suspects to paint the longer term charts.

This could have something to do with the with the risk off trade, with PMs at center, catching a bid today … frontrunning tomorrows’ jobs numbers.

I wouldn’t expect smaller stocks to catch a bid today, but if the numbers come in friendly tomorrow, which must be to support the larger equity complex in this election year, then outsized / trend reversing moves should be expected at some point in the not-too-distant future.

And the metals should make progressions in daily, weekly, and monthly ranges, where $100+ up days in gold should occur more frequently etc. – and $3 to $5 to higher daily advances for silver.

They are cornered rats now in a game of their own making.

Down comes The Tower of Babel.

That’s the kind of thing that makes certain short folks spit up their coffee!

So, I took a gander at the COT Report. Why? I do not know. I’m pretty sure we’ve resolved that it is as rife with fraud as the rest of the Crimex. I did notice the short positions of the funds are drying up – at least that’s what they’re reporting. Volume in general seems to be drying up.

Anyway, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen non-bullion bank shorts at this 50K (and falling) level. Maybe Captain Hook has eyes on such things.

No idea why though. Doesn’t seem to be affecting much of anything, pm’s or oil. Rates got down to 4.28% yesterday. They’re back up to 4.3% today, but they have been trending lower for the past week and a half, from 4.6%. Why would that be? IMHO, it’s because the economy is crashing, and the Fed will cut. The fix is always in, and the bond market players have been made aware.

Between yesterday and this am silver has gained back a bit over half of Tuesdays’ losses. Gold bounced nicely off the 50 dma and is actually up on the week as of now. Not crazy about the sideway action of the last 3 weeks, but at least holding.

The HUI has also bounced off the 50 day. Truthfully, the charts of GLD, SLV and the HUI look great. The scum makes them very hard to trust though.
