Even with a higher rates headwind, Gold is $2,670 per ounce from $1500/oz. today. If they did not raise the rates, gold would probably be $3500 today.

Can pm’s and shares perform when the SM craters?

So far, it’s an epic fail. Silver tanked immediately with the market and went back below $30, gold tanked too, trying to hold $2650 – but it won’t. The HUI is still up a paltry 3 points, but that will fail too.

We’re not there yet. Probably not even close. The algo’s are set to prevent pm’s from doing anything outside the other markets.

Looks like you got your wish, gold up everything down. Trump is being blamed over tariff worries. They should of been more worried about the amount of theft of our tax dollars. I don’t know if they should worry too much as foreign companies wanting to bring their money here eliminating all the middle men and money changing hands behind closed doors and  make them wait years with likely kickbacks expected from certain politicians first and we never see that money now out of the way. That seemed to work with big pharma.

All that being said, as much as I’d love to bitch, our sector is outperforming again for the second day in a row and literally everything is going against us. It’s not moving up as fast as I’d like to see but still moving up with a couple of exceptions.

Plus, Bitcoin is down $2K, that always warms my heart. 🙂

Trump is not crazy. He works for the international banking families. They will get rid of him if he does not do their bidding. They want all wealth. They need natural resources to feed their machine. I imagine all the Wall Street bulls are praying for Captain Hook’s “soft” numbers on the Friday jobs report.

I consider us very lucky to be flat. If we can just hold up for a few days while everything else tanks, maybe some real money might come into the sector. Always dreaming.

Trump doesn’t want China and Russia snooping around and gaining influence. He’s mentioned them by name. There will not be another Cuba. Just as Russia won’t accept Nato on their doorstep (and Trump has acknowledged that he understands Russia’s their feelings about that), nor will Trump let Russia and China on his doorstep. I think these are just shots fired across the bow to make it clear his position is “KEEP OUT”. In the meantime he’s already started influencing Greenlanders himself.
