You’re right … $2billion isn’t so much, unless it starts a domino effect where the companies supposed to be paid can’t make their payments and so on down the line. That’s probably not going to happen here beyond a few cos. Probably the greater problem is that there are likely many other cos in the same situation. “There never is just one cockroach theory.”
Looking at the subprime auto collapse of Tricolor and wondering how $2 billion could be such a big deal. Unless, of course, we have a whole bunch of companies using that collateral as security for their 10 and 20 times levered bets on other assets. Then I suppose Houston, or rather Dallas, could have a problem.
If it becomes a thing, I’m sure the Fed and Powell will tell us that no one could see it coming.
Maybe one of the shortest corrections on record. Not sure it could be called a correction, although it did do one thing, it got the RSI’s of SLV, GLD and $HUI below 70. Not by much, GLD and HUI still 69 and SLV more cooperative at 62.
So we start the morning up, despite the dollar mildly higher and the 10 yr up a bip. I’m assuming that will change as the day goes by to support the move in the metals.
The rest of the markets are flat, Crypto, SM. Oil is down near 1%.
I guess we shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth. This has been amazing.

BTW it’s almost funny but it’s not. With the open borders and all these uninsured people crowding the emergency rooms not just the ones getting jobs in hospitals if it kept up it would of wound up similar to what I seen them do when I got talked into working the jails on call on days off for about a yr. They had to separate gang members and people from different places so they didn’t kill each other.

Although working with veterans and their sense of humor with teach you if you can survive through them you can survive through anything, but more fun as things don’t get boring. They also need protection if in a vulnerable situation. Like open borders and insourcing for instance. How do they feel about Americans particularly veterans. Ill give you one of many instances although I mentioned the retired FBI left for dead before I got him help and a law suit but here’s another one. He was elderly and vet with COPD that can cause a lot of coughing and with it occasional painful muscle pain and spasms along with having other issues. It was the mid 1980s The doctor ordered something for that pain PRN. He told me the foreign nurse was refusing to give him his pain medicine. I didn’t have him as a patient at the time. I went to the nurse who I already knew she had a attitude towards her American patients per the patients telling me. She told me that he’s going to get addicted. That was her excuse for leaving him in pain. I told her if the doctor gives a order for a medication unless you speak to the doctor you have to give that medicine. You cannot take it upon yourself to decide if he gets it or not, you don’t have that right or authority. That’s between him and his doctor not you. Even then she continued to argue in which I had no time to listen to her little dictation and told her she will lose her license for abuse. That shut her up. She was fired. We don’t need these kind of people coming here who hate Americans. It was obvious with all the crimes going on during Biden’s open borders the demos didn’t care or who knows maybe some of those cretins were celebrating it.
second cataract surgery this morning. all went well – simple and easy as i had been told, but i’m glad to look back on it rather than looking forward.
Soros during the second WW dobbed his fellow jews in to the SS……the List against him is over 80 yrs old and every year is probably full, of vile crimes.

There are many stories like that and why I decided at 17 that things had to change for our elder veterans and their family’s. They deserved much better end of life care that was similar to a prison cell back then that and more mutual respect and to be listened to. Once their gone it’s too late. Most people back then we’re veterans or survivors of war. That started my course from law and political activism to nursing.
