A few of my last brain cells just fizzled out their final goodby and made me think that when the exchange rate is one dollar to a pound to a euro it would be a good initiation point for a move towards one world currency. The others? AUD, JPY? might be like Belize dollars – 50 cents local to the greenback maybe.

Just hit Snowline at $2.03, first small position. I’m sort of seeing downside to maybe $1.80?
the USD and 10 yr. gave up some ground, SM rebounded 300 pts from down 180.
Maybe this is why the shares have sort of held up today? Hope so.

re: Sabina I’ve watched them for a long time, seems like a solid play that I agree should be priced higher. Much of the time it seems like slow going for a stock when they’ve started building their mine. This one should do fine IMO.

GFI has been stinking up the place since the AUY acquisition is holding the indexes and ETF’s down, but given gold is down and the SM isn’t exactly ripping higher.
I’ll take it. Forgot that Powell opens his yap today, so odds are against a gold rally no matter what he says.

I have sat on SBB for a long time. Maybe the wait will pay off towards 2025 when they pour a bar.
SBB sits on the bench with a bunch of other “shouldn’t be so unloved” gold plays.

Shares in Sabina Gold & Silver (TSX: SBB; OTC: SGSVF) jumped almost 4% on Wednesday after the Canadian miner formally committed to building the C$610 million ($463m) Goose gold mine in Nunavut.
Construction at the site, located in the Back River gold district, is planned to fully start in 2023, with first gold production expected in 2025.
The Vancouver-based miner has already completed pre-development activities, while major equipment and materials required for construction have been either procured, delivered or are in transit, it said.
