A few weeks ago Jim Rickards was calling for the stock market to implode beginning on September 21st, but all other sources that I saw were calling for it, or some other significant event, to happen on September 24-25-26.

I’d say Jim Rickards must have been privy to some inside information that today, September 21st, would be the crucifixion of Donald J. Trump…or at least a concerted effort  toward that end.

So nobody is forecasting that the FED will raise rates higher than 5.2%. But previously in order to crush inflation rates needed to be higher than the rate of inflation. Today that’s near 10% conservatively. Sooo inflation wins and the FED is just trying to bail out the sinking raft for a little while longer?

Amals – I have AG as well. $14 down to $7. I own some in between those numbers. It would seem that a lot of this news might be baked in – if what the poster says is true.

I took that as some poster who is likely short AG, and he was just spewing whatever he could. I’m not sure their breakeven is $24 in silver.

So, USD is up another .5%, oil up a buck and a half. PM’s up a little premarket after getting shellacked yesterday. Hard to see them rallying in the face of the rate hike. Whatever comes after is anyone’s guess. We need some sort of “pause” language.

I feel for you but I don’t think anyone could fix this company with its management. All the news apparently is window dressing. Unless something has good dividends and still profitable it’s best to just sell it when it turns on you IMO but that was months ago. Question is what will happen next.
