Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has introduced a War Powers Resolution that would order President Biden to pull all US troops out of Syria, a move that came after four US troops were reported injured in a raid against ISIS in the country. “Congress has never authorized the use of military force in Syria. The United States is currently not in a war with or against Syria, so why are we conducting dangerous military operations there?” Gaetz said in a statement on the resolution.
“President Biden must remove all US Armed Forces from Syria. America First means actually putting the people of our country first — not the interests of the Military Industrial Complex.”

We’ve been in a tight range on the downside since the open, GLD in a $.30 range, SLV in a $.05 range. Every blip up is sold. Rates and the USD just too strong.

I think Karora is a solid play KRRGF. Explorer Snowline SNWGF had some great drill results this morning. As you know they’ve been beaten silly lately.
I think Skeena SKE and Newfound Gold NFGC are good but being explorers riskier. Nevada King Gold NKGFF and Scottie Resources SCTSF and Summa Silver SSVRF are recent purchases of mine. All junior explorers so there is a lot of risk.
Did I mention that these are risky stocks? 
West African Resources WFRSF is little known but has a great operation, making money but is in West Africa which isn’t so good. I may sell it for this reason.
Dolly Varden Silver is another favorite DOLLF.

That’s a shame about Goro. Their management used to be all about sending good dividends to the shareholders but now it looks like they are more interested in stuffing their own pockets while the co. languishes.

PCE the real bad news
is that personal income missed estimate bigly. I guess that means stagflation?

Looks like it’s coming in hot up 4.7% vs. 4.3% estimates
PM’s about flat after the numbers, SM taking a hit. PM’s don’t go up on inflation.

Rates keep rising into the report, saying PCE looks to come in hot. 8 minutes to liftoff.

But Fred, NVDA is up 283% in 5 yrs and 7,350% in 10 years. Miners on the other hand like AEM is up 12% in 5 years and 13% in 10 yrs.

NVDA CEO’s storytelling only works as long as investors are willing to suspend logic. When bearish mentality returns, hype turns into harsh reality &NVDA’s stock plunges, -80%-90% in last 2 major bear mkts. & -62% during last year’s 2022 bear phase. Another spanking in 2023 ahead better at hyping a theme than Mr. Leather Jacket. Bluster enables investors (wildlings) to overlook 52% Y/Y plunge in EPS(-33% non-GAAP as NVDA makes heavy use of stock-based comp), disappointing data center revenues (-6% seq. & -6% vs. estimates)

They are holding pm’s in lockstep inverse of the 10 yr. rates.
Looks like we have only one potential bullish outcome, that is to get slammed and then recover on the PCE numbers. If we don’t reverse, I suspect we’ll just get smashed like we have all week.

This would explain why AG has been performing so poorly. Hard to see them crashing it much further but we’ve seen how low these things can go.

moving down in a stair step fashion. Unusual that it’s a stair step down, usually the upside moves are what we see stair stepping higher. The elevator moves seem to occur now on the upside.
I don’t know what the hell I’m trying to say other than we’re not taking the elevator down for now, we’re taking it up.
PCE out today, probably the biggest report this week as the Fed monitors the PCE numbers closely.
Thinking we could go either way. Either we get smashed after the report but bounce hard off of $1800, or maybe we just go straight down and don’t recover going into the weekend. I prefer to see the spike down and spend the day recovering to make a bottom.
Pretty convenient that we haven’t been able to see the COT data during this down move.
Silver in trouble early yet again in the overnights. Scum not letting us up for air.

According to this Website Allen Palmiere received nearly 1.6 Mio. Included was a bonus of 270 K. Why is he getting so much money? For running down the company?
Palmiere and 4 of his “Management” guys received nearly 3 Mio Dollar.
These guy suspended the Dividend of the share holders – nearly 3.5 Mio.
The share holders – who gave the company the money to build up this business – are now getting nothing. No dividend, nada.

“For the year ended December 31, 2021, we reported net income of $8.0 million with revenue of $125.2 million”
Palmiere’s compensation was nearly 20% of the 2021 income. And nearly 1.3% of the revenue.
Am I the only who thinks that this compensation is completely out of whack?
