Maybe it’s better we aren’t trading today. USD looks stronger, the 10 yr is up 5 bips to 3.36%.

Oddly enough, Bitcoin has been recouping early losses. Weird that we don’t have pm pricing on the world markets, but probably better we don’t. SM futures are up a little.

Also weird to have Financial TV on with the SM closed. Somewhere bonds are trading though. I guess bonds and currencies make the world go round.

Somehow we finished flat on the day but most of the shares I follow were up. Another impressive showing given gold was dow $13. Silver held up though, more good news.

The Guru in me is going out on a limb and thinking we have a blowout day on Monday. I actually wish the SM was open tomorrow. I think we’ll probably get a miss on the jobs report that would be pm friendly. Maybe in a big way. We’ll have to wait until Monday to find out but…Just sayin’

As the article says nothing will happen overnight, it may well be gradual, but the move away from the Dollar has begun….but considering the alternatives…no other currency is that attractive, or held in sufficient amounts to really rival the Dollar..yet……but that means some may move into Gold first, as an alternative and if only a fraction of total reserves does, that is one hell of a lot of Gold they need …..!!!!!
