Curiously, rates & the USD are moving north going into the retail sales numbers. Causing gold (and the nasdaq) a little discomfort for the moment. Oddly enough, the DOW futures are higher.

Running into what could be called mild resistance at say $24-24.50? I’m not seeing a lot of resistance really up until $26, but the RSI is at 82 so a rise to $26 would have to be meteoric.
GLD OTOH, looks a lot more constructive on the way to new highs above the intraday all-time high. RSI at 67 and looking to get even frothier. What are the scum’s plans?

Checking the action, we are pretty much flat in pm’s, the USD and rates. The SM futures point to a slightly lower open, btu if this is the everything rally then it won’t matter. Too early to call the shares but likely flat.
Bitcoin ripping again, up $600 at last look, but Etherium is the real mover up 5%.
Soft and hard commodities are mixed. Lumber jumps the shark up 6%?? Heck, with all the trees removed from the hurricane we should have free lumber and the Germans free firewood. 🙂

but this isn’t even close to a blow off anything, just more accumulation, nothing like the momo junkies of the old days just yet.
Retail Sales Tomorrow, more of the same? Unless, retail sales have a super strong report. Hard to see much different from the last couple of days. The shorts in just about everything but the USD are getting killed this week. So much for the record level E-mini short trading.
