Re the shares…i get the impression the shorts are still there and that;s why the shares don’t move much…..they probably have large offers out all day….also looks like they are leaning on ’em now…as with the way Silver came back and gold less so…that was classic bull mkt action…but the shorts just dig in….

Looks like it was up near $17 back in December of 2020. They are losing money, but only have 9.3 million shares outstanding. Looks like a chance at some gains going forward.

Still a lot of time left today, so maybe into the close.

These shares seem to find a level early in the day and just stay there, thought there might be a little more volatility.

Started at 3.62%, got down to 3.6%, now back to 3.626%

Not exactly a tailwind but the metals don’t seem to be bothered by it just yet.

Can’t seem to get the shares to really break upward. Oil coming back a little.

WPM got an upgrade from National Bank.

AGI upgraded by National bank as well. They were upgraded by CIBC yesterday. Both days have seen the stock sell off.

Methinks the shares get moving. USD and rates getting slightly weaker with the SM, although we seem to be doing better as the SM weakens, sort of makes sense as the USD eases.

I took a quick look at my outlook account, and it seems that most everything that was in my inbox, was moved to the deleted items folder. My plan is to wait awhile, to see if a fix is short coming, if not I will manually transfer them back to proper location.

edit – Whoops, it appears some buying is coming in as silver rallied $.10 in a minute or so.

If there’s one thing that gives me pause, it’s that the rally last year ended at almost exactly this time in April. Then we know how ugly it got until December. I don’t want to get caught up in that trap again, there’s a long way to go to 330 HUI.

Thought it might hold $80. Today looks like a deflation day as the USD strengthens for the third straight day.

Might be a good day for flipping, hard to know how deep this pullback will be.

USD down 1/3%, but rates still only up 4 bips. Looks like an outsized hit on the metals. Shares following weakly.

Bitcoin really tanking too, down $1,200. SM has doubled it’s losses premarket.

No clue where this will bottom out. $1950 is first stop and looks sure to arrive. HUI will no doubt be back in the 250-265 band,

Looks like the “everything” rally will be the “everything” selloff today.

PM’s getting hit pretty good in the overnights, Gold spot down almost 1% to sub $2K spot at $1889, silver down 1.25%

Oddly enough the USD is up a smidge, more like flat, but rates are moving higher with the 10 yr. up 4 bips to 3.62%. SM futures are down 1/3% across the board, Europe flat to slightly down.

Bitcoin, oil, most commodities are down. Oil sitting right at $80, with Bitcoin down $300.

BTW – UK CPI up to 10.1% and rising, yikes.

Yesterday’s action with the shares stuffed now makes sense. This is scum action to be sure.
