Simon Hunt I haven’t seen him in awhile although this was done months ago so I guess some of what he predicted is materializing already. He expects to see real bad times ahead.

Looking at gold and I could see a quick run up to $2300 before a pullback. Would put gold in a seriously overbought position, but if there are only a few decent options for your money, why not?

The other thing in the back of my mind is “sell in May and go away”. PM’s have not done well the last few years starting in May. Doesn’t look bad right now, so it might not matter this year. Gold and silver are so overdue for a 2-3 year run.

Looks like we touched $2075 early last evening but are now down $4 or so with silver flat. Doesn’t seem all that threatening at the moment. 10 yr up 3 bips to 3.37%, USD flat, SM down a little. Oil up $.50 after getting crushed for a few bucks

The Fed likes to engineer these “morning after a Fed meeting” to squeeze any enthusiasm out from our little sector. It still seems they’re having a tough time doing it.
