Sudan’s official gold industry, the country’s largest revenue earner, has totally collapsed due to a spiraling month-old conflict in the North African nation, the head of the state-run mining company said.

Mubarak Ardol, general director of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Limited Co., said exports have ground to a halt, processing equipment has been damaged and the headquarters of several gold companies have been looted in the capital, Khartoum. Sudan officially exported 34.5 tons of gold worth over $2 billion last year.

I hope you hang around. Your about the only one who stays focused on the stocks.  If your gonna trade, really trade you don’t have time to sit around and watch videos all day on what other people think. But that’s shorter target trades that could last months. . But no one could blame you for turning it off.
I did at the wrong time during Covid. I bough a steel sock and sold my PMs except the long time losers I don’t have a whole lot of money in anyways but it’s still my money not theirs to pay their bills. I had one year to get the rest of my car payment gone before I retired and owed 17K left so focused on getting that paid off, I knew Moderna  was gonna fly and did it. From around 20 a share to 400. I saw oil drop to nothing and would of backed up the truck on oil stocks. But nope, no speculation just got that 17 K off my back in less than a year.
Hind site I could of made so much money putting that money in stocks  I could of paid the car and had hundreds of thousands of dineros left even without Monderna or Pfizer due to them selling poison, But if my intuition was wrong I would still be paying off that car. So bad timing,
Anyways I hope you can keep your eyes open.

I think we can all relate to these losers. When it comes to this volatile sector it is just better to put in a percentage loss and stick with it. Better to lose 7-10% than 90% It would be even better if we could put in automatic trailing stops. You might come out green if you bought it at a lower price.
On the other end these stocks like to make a long tail down which likes to disappear from the charts sometimes and take out all stops before it moves up. But at least it don’t cost to buy and sell anymore.

Now the blood sucking demos want to tax us on unrealized gains. They must sit around all day trying to dream ways to get your money. Shameless low lives. If they didn’t get insider info imagine how much they would lose. Not that they should ever get away with it  but if it did you could claim your loses and not have to sell the stock.
Traders shorter term would have a new strategy. Buy low but not too low claim loses to offset future taxes then sell at the high.

So, what is beginning to be the norm is continuing. USD up, 10 yr. up. pm’s down.

SLV is $.12 away from the bottom of support @ $21.50. No doubt it will fail, probably today.

Shares acting appropriately, down in sympathy.

We have some meaningless data at 0830.

Sold some positions yesterday, will sell everything but AGI and AG, and call it a day. Spend the restof the time praying that someday soon gold will do what it should.

I’m not sure how much I’m going to post going forward – I’ll try daily. I’m getting back into the business world, it’s the only thing I do well, and have had 3 without fail. Investing has been the death of me. Time to start the third and final chapter in my life.

There’s so much opportunity out there for quality customer service. Seems corporations, large and small immediately go to the default position of blaming their customer for any problems. That’s B.S. I’m seeing it with Ebay now as I’m also selling some things online.

You know you can count me in, too, on the insanity.   My participation goes back to about 2001, but I was never a trader. Tried to pick good ones and just let them ride. Have sold very few, and as you can guess, I have a few big winners, a few okay performers, and a lot of losers, some very big losers.  Quite a few I never bought; they came about from mergers and acquisitions.  But I  am also of the camp that find it hard to let them go at this point; I’ve been through so much pain that it would kill me to sell off now only to miss the train when it finally leaves the station, having never faltered in my belief in the concept, at least, of owning the producers of pm’s in what I consider a failing financial world.  And besides, except for the big winners, the others are hardly worth selling, they’re so far down.  The only hope is for them to come back and perform if/when pm’s ever take off again. If even a few of them do, I might just get back to even on my long-term investment.
