A Quiet Revolution Is Unfolding Against ‘Woke’ Corporate America – Here’s The Strategy Behind It

If CEOs and corporate board members continue to “pretend” going woke won’t make them broke, Shepard believes they will likely be sued personally.

He predicts executives will be forced to pay back the amount they cost shareholders out of their pockets by “running companies according to their own personal preferences, rather than according to objective, neutral rules of running a business.”

0600 EST – pray for a reversal

Posted by Buygold @ 5:47 on June 15, 2023

Dollar flat, 10 yr. up a bip and a half. Oil and food commodities are rallying. Metals of all sorts are down.

Hope and pray that we get the spike down and reversal higher. Haven’t seen that in a long time. Otherwise, I guess we’ll get another summer of pain. I’m not a big believer in seasonals, we’ll see.

The Adens $1930 is about to fall in the spot market.

With everything apparently getting ready for a melt down we’re not going to be alone but some of the least clueless.

Talking to my Grandfather concerning the war and the depression hardships and financial loss his main message wasn’t money or materials and he lost big in the crash of 29 that would be a lot of money today you could retire on.
Besides being right with your maker he said if it ever happens to you hold on to your health. With out your health you don’t have nothin. Now they’re going after that too.
So if there’s anything on your bucket list or want to do if you can find away just go do it and don’t let anyone get in your way.
I hear people say their waiting for later when they retire to do this or that. There may not be a later, or in some cases a retirement because there’s always gonna be some asshat out there who will screw things up.
Not put your life in one basket for later.
I tell the young you can’t get time back so don’t let people waist it.
There has to be some balance. Yin and Yang

He also said something else about the stock market I didn’t quite understand because I was too young just familiar with them talking about it.
He said don’t try to go up to fast. I should of asked him what he meant but  after hearing he lost a million dollars in the crash which I don’t even know how much that would be today I didn’t want to talk about it.
I’m guessing that’s about the same as not getting too greedy.

we live in interesting times.  i was giving a buddy a ride home (his truck got smashed up in a wreck).  twice we had to turn around, backtrack, and go around.  i got him within a couple hundred yards of his place, and was confronted by a fair sized pine tree down across the road.  he hoofed it from there while i turned around (again) and came home.  the florida panhandle is having some lively weather.  i used to enjoy storms before i owned real estate.

home safe and sound but a little damp around the edges.

My retirement too, I have to generate some income. PM’s have been nothing but a pox on my entire financial well being – especially the shares.

I think most of us thought gold would really go this time.

I see we’re getting pounded again tonight. Silver sucks, period.

The whole Covid plandemic was a abomination on both patients and medical staff. It was both medical treason and tyranny. It was also attack on each and everyone’s personal choices and rights.
I had a couple of flus multi years apart that were worse than Covid. But yet they couldn’t get you back to work fast enough even if you were still sick.
Are you sure it’s not from those fires I head about? Do you have air purifiers in your home and office?

Hope you take care of yourself now and that sinus or sinus infection and hopefully the headache with go away with it ahd not more serious than that.

It seems to be backwards here with private verse corporate doctors. With employed corporate doctors they push through as many clients a day as they could for  General  Practice. As you can imagine they weren’t working fir the client but the bottom line and  could affect quality of care and  or burnout.
Now private doctors have a new option of being associated with hospitals and groups insured for that particular hospital.

They were years back trying to eliminate private doctors it appeared by pricing them out with  this mandated computer system, A doctor I worked with on wounds told me about it and was taking their retirement money. Also it required to get extra help without having  to pay over time for their staff. I got the hint if I wanted it. She and for her husband both doctors.
On the floor and computers were night and  day with me. She didn’t need me on the computers and don’t like working with them anyways it’s so boring. Plus the CMT has affected my dexterity. I wish I could of helped her but as that saying goes do no harm.

Since there specialists they must flat out closed their office and contracted out with hospitals. How that worked I don’t know.

Hang in there Winedoc and glad your not taking any more of those shots. They don’t work just like the common cold it mutates and they knew it.

Kind thoughts worth passing along.

My dad has bees. Today I went to his house and he showed me all of the honey he had gotten from the hives. He took the lid off of a 5 gallon bucket full of honey and on top of the honey there were 3 little bees, struggling. They were covered in sticky honey and drowning. I asked him if we could help them and he said he was sure they wouldn’t survive. Casualties of honey collection I suppose.
I asked him again if we could at least get them out and kill them quickly, after all he was the one who taught me to put a suffering animal (or bug) out of its misery. He finally conceded and scooped the bees out of the bucket. He put them in an empty Chobani yogurt container and put the plastic container outside.
Because he had disrupted the hive with the earlier honey collection, there were bees flying all over outside.
We put the 3 little bees in the container on a bench and left them to their fate. My dad called me out a little while later to show me what was happening. These three little bees were surrounded by all of their sisters (all of the bees are females) and they were cleaning the sticky nearly dead bees, helping them to get all of the honey off of their bodies. We came back a short time later and there was only one little bee left in the container. She was still being tended to by her sisters.
When it was time for me to leave we checked one last time and all three of the bees had been cleaned off enough to fly away and the container was empty.
Those three little bees lived because they were surrounded by family and friends who would not give up on them, family and friends who refused to let them drown in their own stickiness and resolved to help until the last little bee could be set free.
Bee Sisters. Bee Peers. Bee Teammates.
We could all learn a thing or two from these bees.
Bee kind always.

Pause at 1:58 and read. then continue as you gain some understanding of why nothing works as it used to. Only 8 minutes!

Goldi …….

Posted by winedoc @ 16:42 on June 14, 2023

Self employed, but Govt is my main payee …….

Visit to doctor is $44 CDN for under 65 and $55 for over 65

No work no pay

At least there is still a billing code for “pandemic telephone” and I could call a few patients while home to help cover overhead

All the new grads are taking the Govy sessional work

Salaries with benefits such as paid vacation and pensions. Salaried positions are  less on the gross salary but the new grads know how to “cherry pick” and  play the lifestyle card

and productivity is 25% of what I do

Its too late for me, to make any changes

A few more years and Im packing it in

What a mess Canadian Health Care is.

I wuz hoping my gold stock “riches” would ease me into the retirement sunset but that is not the case

PS:  I had 3 mandated shots and stopped, mild covid last summer was a joke but still off work and isolating from my wife,  this past weekend, second round much worse but only because of terrible headache and sinus, lasted 4 days or so …….. no more vaccines for me.  Natural immunity better.  We are sitting ducks if office treating sick people and no masks on

So there ya go …….

They didn’t ask him those type of questions because they seemingly don’t know anything about the monetary system.  If they did, they would expose the theft that the Federal Reserve has been doling out since 1913. Theft by inflation.

Henry Ford said. “if the people of this country understood the monetary system, I believe there would be a Revolution by tomorrow morning” – paraphrasing but same meaning.

They don’t teach kids about the monetary system in HS or college. Kids may receive accounting course, but that has nothing to do with monetary system.

Winedoc, sorry about the Covid, if it’s your first time, it sucks. 2nd time wasn’t as bad. So, at least you have natural immunity now?

Gold & Silver are going to continue to suck until they can no longer be held down. I’ve never scene that scenario, at least not in the 21 years I’ve been around.

No pay? Do the ones making these policy’s think good doctors come a dime a dozen or patients can suffer too? Maybe they never get sick.
USD is still in a down trend mode for now anyways as could be setting up for a RHS but that doesn’t make much sense so have to watch what tomorrow brings.
Fed announced they’re going to hike again in the future and that news hit the market with a mixed  reaction depending on the sector but most stocks appeared affected,
They are close to their target though. The question is will they do it in .25 points and drag it out of faster.

Happy Hour

Posted by winedoc @ 15:31 on June 14, 2023

Just getting over covid for the second time …….

Mandated home for 7 days with NO pay …..

That fact, covid headache and shitty gold stock price action are not making my day …..

Sentiment is awful, its all over the board here, so we must be close to a bottom?

I aint selling nothing at these prices ……

Buygold re Listening to Powell Speaking

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:19 on June 14, 2023

He keeps mentioning their job is to maintain jobs and price stability. Well since 1970 era our country lost millions of manufacturing jobs, and everything costs about 20 times more. So I don’t understand why none of the people questioning him, tell him what I just said. If we go further back in time like 1950, a new Chevy went from $1,000 to $50,000, 50 times more.

Listening to Powell

Posted by Buygold @ 15:01 on June 14, 2023

He said they weren’t know the full extent of bank-related credit tightening.

That’s odd to me. How could they not know the effect of their tightening.

One thing seems sure to me, these silver shares suck so bad that they are ripe for a huge rally. Beaten senseless.

Powell speaking

Posted by Buygold @ 14:44 on June 14, 2023

we’re doing a little better, but still no sign of a legitimate reversal.

GDXJ went briefly positive. USD easing slightly, 10 yr. easing as well, shares still suck, but at least putting up a little fight. Problem is that they are coming back with the market.
