As for next week … who knows?

On the chart below you can see, this rally started in Jan 1st 2016 at $1,060 after the 2011 high at 1800. With Gold today at $1,926 its only 7% higher over the last 12 years. In 2020 2022 and 2023 gold broke new highs over $2,000/oz. So my view is, on this next rally or wave, we will see new highs.

Below the US Dollar has been climbing after 2011’s gold $1830 high. And gold is 7% higher anyway. And look at all those high volume monthly bars suggesting an all time high $1,600 in late or September 2002.

but I am betting that physical bought now , even with the premiums , will bring a smile to the buyer within a couple of years . Has anyone else been tracking the decline in the Ruble relative to the dollar ? I recall seeing 55:1 not many months ago . Today over 87:1 . Could be a bargain if truly gold backed after the BRICS meet .
