I do tend to try to right some things that I believe are wrong. I was taught from early childhood to never take the last cookie, always respect and be helpful to others, be honest in everything I do, and always have a helping hand extended with something in it to help someone else. That includes physical things as well as mental and moral help and guidance from God and what I call my “Higher Power”.
In my corporate life I was the Number One Producer in two huge corporations, and the way I became number one out of thousands was through honesty, integrity, and hard work….and in fact I gained the reputation and name of being called “the preacher” because I could not be bought or intimidated . I retired at age 33 and made a total lifestyle change with money being the least important goal in my life. I helped build log homes for free just to learn the trade and I have built several. I spent 20 years developing a very large cattle ranch from the Canadian bush, I was the dump contractor for 3 BC communities, and the Hydro-seeder Contractor for all of northern BC for the Forestry. I was awarded one of the first forestry woodlots in BC from which I took about 100 logging truck loads of sawlogs each winter. The reason I have been successful in my life is because I have always given a little more than I received, and that includes my opinions and advice, the best here of which has been to get phyz SNG.
The past few years I have worked free for friends who own an organic farm consisting of a wide variety of tree and vegetable crops, and another friend who owns an Angus cattle ranch. I say I work free but the benefits I receive are far greater than anything wages could ever pay me. They have helped me maintain my health and my faith in God, knowing that there will be an even greater and better life awaiting me when I reach the end of this one, but until then I will find it difficult to “sit down and shut up” as you seem to be requesting I do…, but selfish I have never been!
