Maybe depending on where you live it wasn’t to great for those in health care until towards the end a but generally a demanding job anyways. They were like the Fed as far as keeping up with inflation, always late.
Sheet metal now is using more computerized equipment called CNC I think. I’m not in it but a known company in Calif is in my immediate family. I think their still far from being replaced by computers though. I think one reason it’s speciality work on demand. From airplanes, computer desks of 90s, to new projects at Disney. So it still needs skilled Class A machinist.
