If anything happens including false flags to any mine as long as they can make some peace deal it would more likely come from Europe.

China is making deals with Mexico all the time. If Trump wasn’t elected they would of been making EV cars and using Mexico to avoid shipping tariffs. They’ve also been working on the Belt and Road project to connect something like 150 countries. They were also all over the Panama canal. Strange no false flags or sabotage ever befalls them.

Sure Carney will sell them to Asia. Trump says Canada has nothing USA wants.

But, there is still a war going on!
Zelenskyy is no longer their legitimate leader, so how can he bargain for Ukraine?
Could this drag the US directly into that war?
I wonder how the US would feel if Russia or China made a similar deal with Mexico or Canada? Oh, maybe China already has a secret deal with Carney’s Canada!

Blackrock wins …

Posted by Captain Hook @ 17:42 on May 1, 2025

… Trump scored big for his real constituents today …

Well done, Donald.

Now you can screw the Russians by moving military assets into the area on the sly … not to mention the Blackrock boys will make a sh*t tonne of money using the slave labor.

Yes I think their front running the market and the Dow slowly inching coincidentally with the Fed meeting to resistance. I don’t think any hindsight word games with the threat of recession so close of possible future rate cuts are gonna cut it.

Tomorrow should prove to be an interesting day……

Typical raid on the shares

Posted by Buygold @ 15:04 on May 1, 2025

Looking around at volume and there’s certainly no rush to the exits. NEM barely above half avg. volume with an hour left. AEM about 3/4. Even AG isn’t at avg. volume and they just love to mess with that stock.

Looks like a chance to buy a phony run meant to scare.

They always destroy the shares like this. We’ll see how they close them. I’ll bet on the HUI to close above 380 and for us to firm back up tomorrow.
Silver shares down 5% across the board with silver down .6%? I don’t buy it.

A Turning Point for Canadian Mining: Aligning Provincial Reform with Federal Priorities

Posted by ipso facto @ 12:55 on May 1, 2025

In 2023, the Ontario government introduced the Building More Mines Act (Bill 71), a bold legislative reform aimed at revitalizing the province’s mining sector and asserting its role in the global race for critical minerals. With global supply chains under strain, surging demand for electric vehicle (EV) components, and intensifying international competition, Ontario is positioning itself as a key player in the future of mineral production. So while the government and the industry as a whole see Bill 71 as a pivotal move toward economic opportunity, critics warn it may compromise environmental standards and Indigenous rights. As Ontario moves forward, stakeholders are watching closely to see whether the act will strike the right balance between development and responsibility.

The manufacturing numbers were OK. Construction spending down. We may or may not have a recession.

Having a hard time reconciling the dollar and rates lately. Rates reversed higher today but nothing crazy, now the dollar is strong. Course, when we look at all the other garbage fiat, it didn’t make sense that it should fall too much anyway.

Strength in the SM kind of puzzles me too. The jobs report will be bad tomorrow because of government layoffs.

I think they are front running the Fed to be honest. But we’ll find out.

The BIS is your enemy …

Posted by Captain Hook @ 11:23 on May 1, 2025

… they are transitioning from communism to technocracy … which is far worse than communism … where you will be reduced into irrelevance and culled as soon as possible (so you use up the least resources possible) …

These BIS people are monsters … they are attempting to introduce the ‘mark of the beast’ (from Revelation) … they will burn in hell for unleashing this unholy atrocity on mankind … and those that go along with it will also suffer God’s wrath … it’s in the Bible.

Have a nice day

Finally some good news!

“The USDA and Secretary Brooke Rollins has announced a portal for farmers, ranchers and producers that if you’re being harassed by federal or state agencies — you go on the portal and you’ve essentially a direct line to the top, to Secretary Rollins”

“This portal is gonna be a big deal — Awesome news. Feeling pretty confident about where we’re going”

Shorts getting squeezed

Posted by deer79 @ 10:35 on May 1, 2025

$US, stocks, Oil all seem to be getting squeezed and going higher due to an interpretation that there will be NO RECESSION.

The PMI data (if you want to believe it or not seems to be a moot point, as the algorithms and CTA’s will take things where they want to) released indicates (from ZH)

“none of the three factors point to a recession: the past relationship between the manufacturing PMI and the overall economy indicates that the April reading (48.7 percent) corresponds to a change of +1.8 percent in real gross domestic product (GDP) on an annualized basis.” (says ISM’s Timothy Fiore).

That’s all it takes to flip the script……

Silver a bit volatile

Despite the carnage in the shares, this is much better action than we’re used to seeing in the metals JMHO

I read the Chinese market is closed for a long weekend. Maybe profit taking while China’s closed and no counter the selling with other buyers. Maybe someone assumes they’re selling. Did see some China’s tariff tension wind down but only a little bit with tit for tat what and what not to tariff going on.

Morning deer79

Posted by Buygold @ 8:07 on May 1, 2025

The Goldman guy may not have been talking about the Chinese central bank, maybe about Chinese players on the Shanghai exchange. I’m with you on Goldman, they have a $4500 target by year end. What to believe.

It does seem to me that the Crimex is absorbing some of the selling during the day though and there hasn’t been a huge rush to the exits. The sell off so far has not been too chaotic. We’ve seen worse. Maybe US players are picking up the pieces?

Fed meeting, jobs report, eco data, rates easing on the 10 year. It’s all bullish. I think there’s a gap to fill in the $3100 area. We’ll see what happens there.

As Buygold alluded to

Posted by deer79 @ 8:06 on May 1, 2025

this also could be a typical (playbook) preemptive move, by the scum, to get Gold down to a LEVEL where (if it rallies after a bad jobs #, and there’s more talk about interest rate cuts) it would only get back to where it was before the kamikaze drop……..

Perhaps the Chinese

Posted by deer79 @ 7:55 on May 1, 2025

even posted that ZH story, so they could buy more Gold on a certain kamikaze bombing by the algorithms.

This is a financial war as well!!!!

In the ZH Chinese Gold article

Posted by deer79 @ 7:19 on May 1, 2025

that you posted, Buygold, it states:

Goldman commodity trader Adam Gillard writes, China liquidated what it bought last week ahead of the Labor Day holiday, resulting in total onshore positioning now 5% off the ATH.

We’re suppose to believe something that a Goldman commodity trader says???

No friggin way……….I, for one, find it very dubious that, after 3 consistent years of massive central bank Gold buying, by the Chinese, that they’ll just turn around and have massive liquidations??

Smells of desperation by the scum………………..

AGI – Alamos Gold big miss yesterday

Posted by Buygold @ 5:30 on May 1, 2025

They’ve been a high-flyer in terms of price performance. Looks like they’ll come back to earth at least today though. Down 9% premarket, I’d expect they’ll get hit much harder as the day goes on.

Earnings came in at $.14 vs. estimates of $.19

Kind of surprising.

Apparently, the Chinese are selling

Posted by Buygold @ 5:19 on May 1, 2025

I guess it would explain the weakness in the overnights since we hit $3500. Oddly enough, it also appears that there’s some folks on Crimex that have been willing to step in and buy to slow the descent. You’d think their M.O. would be to press the selling and create a massive waterfall, but we haven’t seen that yet.

Silver just goes along for the ride because its tendency is always down.

Oil getting spanked again down to $57. SM rallying nicely. Dollar up a little with rates flat. Bitcoin up 1% PM’s the big losers at the moment now challenging the $32’s.

It’s a nice setup for the Fed going into next week when they will likely cut, IMHO. We’ll see about that though.

Gold Tumbles On Near-Record Chinese Liquidations

teaser image

China liquidated a near-record 1mn oz across SHFE and SGE, reversing the entire April 22 blow-off top.
