Burkina Faso to nationalise more industrial mines, PM says
Burkina Faso plans to take control of more foreign-owned industrial mines, its prime minister said, as the West African nation seeks a bigger share of revenue from its resources.
Like neighbours Mali and Niger, Burkina Faso is pushing for greater control over its resources and revised its mining code last year, creating a new state mining company, Société de Participation Minière du Burkina (SOPAMIB).

There’s nothing for them to claim classified anymore than dropping a atomic bomb on a city to see the effects. Citizens have rights, wildlife needs protection including our food storage and resources and the ecosystem that sustains life . They need a short leash and fast. We know who it is, the environmental agency told to look the other way is just secondary but who are they taking orders from and for how much.

Gold giving most of yesterday’s gains back early. Silver up slightly but we know how that goes. PM shares down 1% in premarket.
Dollar up a little, rates up 3 bips. SM up slightly. Oil down near 1% and Bitcoin flat. Something for everyone, I guess.
There’s some eco data, but nothing that tends to roil the SM. The next 3 days have a ton of data that will affect the market, capped off by the jobs report on Friday.
Month end combined with data, no idea what we’ll look like by the end of the week.
